I don't call the first Aunt Viv, dark-skinned Aunt. I call her the real Aunt Viv. She's strong, powerful, confident, smart, a force to be reckoned with, and yet beautiful and feminine at the same time.

I was nine years old when this aired. I remember Will saying “I’m 19 and I’m going to make mistakes” uhhh 19 seemed like so far ahead into the future. I’m now 38 and I’m closer to uncle Phil’s age than I was to wills age back then. Time flies y’all. Enjoy every minute of it
You're so right. I'll be 38 and few months, and sometimes I'm genuinely shocked at how fast time has flown. One thing that makes it hard to believe that we're almost the age as the parents is the fact that our generation looks and acts more youthful than the 30/40-somethings of the 90s. Even when I look at "Cosby", I think of how even little Rudy was a "big kid" over me. And now, I'm older than Phylicia Rashad was when she landed the role as the Huxtable matriarch.
To be fair just about everybody on the planet is closer to uncle Phil’s age being that you were 9 at the time and he was 45. Times have drastically changed you didn’t have athletes and entertainers stretching out their longevity like it is today, the show was also a little unrealistic in that phil somehow had the body of a 60 year old with the wealth and professional/life experience of a 70 year old grand dad (generally speaking) 😂
Janice is an extremely toxic person!!!! First, she slept with the boy her daughter liked; then, she tried to destroy a family. What the hell she wanted??? To create as much pain as posible??

@RYAN DAVIS faxx I a while ago some chick I met outside downtown in clubs/bar area and later danced with at a club I was tryna get with and she let me know she wanted my homie who's a bodybuilder type and I gave him the number. Could've easily been salty and just left it. Not patting myself on the back but I share your sentiment. If I can't get none I'm always happy if bros or even random dude can get some knowing how challenging it is and all the potential obstacles

Interesting take. I didn't get that he was proud at that point. What I got was that he was trying to figure out what Will was implying. Then he fumed when he finally caught on.

I really appreciate that while Will had an attraction to Janice, once the deed was done they never try to fetishize the hookup or praise Will for hooking up with Janice. They immediately call her out for it.
@@Qaranwadani1993 Skin color has nothing to do with it. Aunt Viv #1's character that she conveyed on the show wouldn't fit an episode like this. She portrayed confidence, charisma, and stood up for what was right. She didn't have an issue calling anyone out on their BS, including Uncle Phil. I can't picture Uncle Phil treating Aunt Viv #1 the way he treated Aunt Viv #2 in this episode. Aunt Viv #1 would have shut it down.

@@joewhitehead3 I think it's a matter of personal preference. Personally, I prefer the original Aunt Viv. I liked that she was a stronger matriarch in the family. The second aunt Viv..... I felt like she joined the show and played the character pretty passively, giving the other characters more time to shine.

man i love james avery the way he delivered that "you heard what i said." like honestly uncle phil is the reason that i never gave the remake a shot. like i get you can do a dramatic remake and everything, but you can keep the supergangster version of uncle phil to yourself because it does have anything on the fun uncle phil this show had
Yeha but janice is hotter than both aunt viv’s. I would’ve preferred if phil got some sexy booty for the all the hard work he busted his ass for(7 years minimum for law school)
