Jaguars are not aggresive to humans unless surprised or they have cubs around. Jaguars specifically target their prey with a devastating bite to the neck or skull and as such they are psychologically adapted to hunt "horizontal" animals. I.e. quadrepedes like deer, cows, caiman etc. They are not interested in "vertical" things like humans.

@NurseSnow2U
@NurseSnow2U 8 месяцев назад
@cookdislander4372 - don’t ever feel “dumb” beloved!! Life is so beautiful and there is so much to learn. I’ve been considered highly “verbose” since elementary school because I too just have a love and fascination for words and diction. I was also diagnosed with a rare genetic illness around the age of 10 and that led me to read medical dictionaries out of curiosity of my situation and to further comprehend what was happening to my body since my pediatricians oft felt I was “too young” to understand so that’s where my interest comes from primarily and after that I genuinely fell in love with descriptive verbiage and etymology. But I completely SUCK at math despite being an RN lol. I don’t think that makes me dumb, so don’t ever say that about yourself!!! There are so many beautiful, unexplored facets of life and such a huge plethora of subjects to study including all the animals I never knew about prior to this incredible channel. 1:34 Bear cuscus (I had NOT heard of this one. I thought it was some kind of loris) 3:16 Takin (thought it was a tahr - I was kind of close?) 4:24 Tapir (I thought everyone knew about tapirs. I love them so much esp. the babies) 5:35 Viscacha (I didn't know about these ones!) 6:24 Silky anteater (I have heard of this one) 7:23 Club-winged manakin (I have not heard of this one) 8:26 Bilby (I do know this one, and also the Patagonian mara) 9:36 Olm (I have heard of this one) 10:47 Brown hyena (Of course I know the brown hyena) 11:52 Civet (I love civets! And genets. Have known about them since middle school) 13:34 Tree kangaroo (I did know about tree kangaroos. Love their colors!) So I got 7/11. I'm so glad that you mentioned the bilby and the tree kangaroo - and not just because they were the only animals I knew. Australia has a lot of unique and adorable animals that many people don't know about like the quoll, numbat, dugong, bettong, and more and I hope you mention them in the future!

Fun fact about the club-winged manakin: the males have solid ulnas (bone in the wing) instead of hollow bones like most other birds. This helps them to make that sound but is very likely to be a disadvantage to their flying abilitys
