@@TheSugarGod That's something I do sometimes as well. It's especially useful when multiple characters are down at once. Getting the memory lockets also helps a lot.

@@TheSugarGod my play for most of the game was mio and noah healers eunie taion dps for this express purpose, I essentially had 2 backup healers for emergency

Well I think of it more like an additive process rather than a change. The original YWKON had other elements sure but the primary focus of that song was always on the guitar. YWRON had just as much guitar but had more of an orchestral sound backing it. YWKON:F has the guitar and orchestral elements still but now the melody is trading off to the flute and violin sometimes, and it also has a prominent piano part like the DLCs. This song to me represents everything I love about the xenoblade music, and the new styles they've experimented with over time, all culminated into one (through years of training) and is my favorite song in the series.

@@andrewnguyenstudentmhs889 I think it actually marks the transition between two separate in-game music tracks (the normal version of this song vs the high tension variant). One of the few cases where I can really excuse that lazy-feeling key change trick :P

Idk about you, this is played at least three times a day on my headphones - get to it, for sparks sake!

to be fair, this song is much more complex than any other song in the game. Even after fighting hundreds of uniques I still found new parts I never heard before all the time.

There is indeed - and you’ll be really damn thankful for it when you’re playing on hard mode and need to think about who to switch to and/or what move to use to save yourself from an impending wipe. ;p That, and the Switch’s ability to quickly save a video of the last 30 seconds of gameplay (no clue why the hell that was disabled in XC2)

I thought there'd be a recall finale too before but the Japanese names of these songs leads me to believe there won't be. In Japanese, You Will Recall Our Names is just called You Will Know Our Names Again (or something to that effect) and it was only localized to Recall. So they're all technically You Will Know Our Names

You caught me lol, I found it in the files and I'm pretty sure it's unused. It fits well as part of the outro though, so I'm assuming that's where it was supposed to go - maybe the official soundtrack release will prove me wrong though 🤷

Nope I’ve actually heard this part in game but it’s kind hard to get if you finish the health bar too fast or your too busy hoping they don’t charge that ultimate attack up before you kill them

I actually think I did hear this one once in game but it’s hard to get if you drain the hp too fast

Only plays if you actually kill the monster at the end of the "pre-end" music. Very hard to time. Or maybe theres some other requirement but thats what happened for me

I'm 90% sure these are just the file names, meaning they're not fully official yet. The OST will probably give a real name once its released for sale or something

@@fgvcosmic6752 no, this song is officially titled You Will Know Our Names - Finale. Nintendo posted parts of some songs from the game with titles, and this song was one of them. Some of the others were The Weight of Life and A Formidable Enemy

Wait for the official release, it's only a few weeks away.
