Families have no more 'head of the home' and churches number more women than men in them. If men at all, men should be looking like men and should not adopt women hairstyles. As people buy into the liberal ideology of a post Christian civilisation, in its name we undermine our human dignity, while Egyptology, pseudo black history and black power movements, besides reggae music that brought a particular lifestyle have done great damage to black people. I do not think M.L. King, W.E. Dubois, Toussaint Louverture, Malcolm X, Nelson Mandela, Marcus Garvey, Franz Fanon, and those of their calibre would have been able to achieve much with our men today with their messed-up brains. Don't get me wrong, I see nothing wrong with men taking care of themselves; I am all for it. What I am saying is a man should look like a man, speak like a man, act like a man. Is that so complicated to achieve?

I cringe when you refer to locs as dreads. There’s nothing dreadful about locs. I’m a professional, educated woman, British born to Jamaican parents. I’ve had locs for over twenty years and was very successful at work, with well groomed locs. So successful that I was able to take early retirement. London has lots of hairdressers who specialise only in locs.

There's no such thing as "white-people hair" though, you are the only demographic that actually has a lot of variety in your hair with so many unique colors and textures, from the silky super thin platinum blonde hair, to fuller dirty blonde, to curly thick red hair, to medium wavy brown. Its ironic that we call everyone but white people "people of color" when in fact the only group with various colors in their eyes and hairs are them, when everyone else is just black and brown, lol!

@@BoopSnoot i think calling anyone "white" or "black" is silly. We vary from beige to brown. Maybe some can be called "black" but it's still just very very dark brown. We're all Gods creation and it's silly to put so much into our colors.

After going a few years without corded I ended up missing my old seniors. It feels good using them right now.

Long hair isn’t for everyone and that includes women as well. For most of my life I’ve kept my hair short because I’ve always been told that long curly hair on men isn’t a clean look for most of my life. Now I’m in my 30s and I want to explore what I can do with it for myself and for others as well.
