This is probably the best channel out there. No stupid intro, no stupid loud obnoxious music just right to the point! I'd enjoy to meet these fine folks some day. Not getting stuck but more of a meet greet and even help in their shop. Very good people... Hard to find these days.
@@1homeboy815 40 bucks will buy a decent cb. Another 20 bucks will buy a decent antenna. An hour or less to put them in each rig. Depending on the terrain they could probably get 2 to 10 mile range. A bit more money and they could possibly double that range. Say 200 per rig? Handheld radios usually have limited range unless they are expensive high quality radios. Those usually require a license to use.
That is so funny, Matt could not keep from smiling about who he was going to help. Paul knew he shouldn’t go down in there, but couldn’t help himself. He’s a natural “Good Samaritan “
Matt, you might be the most chilled out rescue person on RU-vid but...... you certainly enjoyed gloating when Paul got stuck in his work truck! Perhaps if Paul was in the Toyota Taco or even Papa Dar's Jeep, he wouldn't have got stuck and he might have even got the boys truck out. Pleased that you found Rudy too! I enjoyed this one!
Cosign that statement. When I lived in Tucson I used to take female friends out to check out status in new housing development construction. Once broke a alternator belt and we had to walk.
I really liked this video. It reminds me of 40 years ago when my buddy called me in the middle of the night to help him. Nooo, he couldn't call his brother. He called me. That's what friends do.👍🏻
This one was Priceless! As a retired Firefighter I have the same compulsion to help anyone in trouble and often the price is an unintended inconvenience, but always still worth the consequences. Great to have Family and friends. Awesome.
Paul's Taco truck is pretty capable, so when I heard that it got stuck I thought something pretty crazy must be going on. Then, when I saw what truck it actually was it made much more sense, just about the worst set up for sand.
They have been talking about this on both channels for a week or so. And one said it wasn't the taco in another video. But. To be fair Matt had to unstick. Taco on the trail. Paul stood it on the back bumper.
That nissan truck... My dad bought same nissan double cabin truck in 2000 when i was born we had this truck for 6 years i grown up on this truck its so nostalgic to see same interior and steering wheel loved ita
You guys crack me up! It is so funny how you and Paul wind up in such predicaments and it is like watching a comedy clip with a rescue thrown in. Good stuff.
Fun recovery, MORR team! Rudy didn't look as upset as I would have had it been me, so nice job, Rudy, in keeping your cool. Still waiting to see the Corvair used on a recovery!
I had a truck in the same shape when I was young and broke myself. Had a old Ford that I had to crack the column used to have to push the pin to start and unlock the steering wheel.
Honestly my favorite part of these videos is seeing how hopelessly stuck these people are and then watching your '90s Jeep just effortlessly drive around like it's on pavement 🤣
Poor Paul his luck will turn around soon. Matt was grinning from ear to ear he couldn’t contain his excitement because he knew Paul was going to owe him. Glad yinz found Rudy and everyone made it home safe. Keep up the good work and stay safe out there.
Another great video Matt. By the way you have the cutest family ever. I really enjoy seeing you all working together . Rudy has the best attitude and a great smile to say nothing of his mad skills welding and fabrication 👍 Happy St Patties day all!
You guys are amazing Love watching you guys 57-year-old woman watch my grandkids throughout the day you guys are show is very entertaining I've been in mechanic shops I've done paint repairs when I was younger all kinds of things but I really get a kick out of you guys it brings back the good old days Love yous awesome job
You guys just have waaay too much fun. You know they say that if you love what you do you'll never work a day in your life and I think you guys are living proof of that. Thanks for producing such fun and wholesome entertainment but you know what, it's more than entertainment it's great folks loving life and genuinely helping others while making an honest living and sharing your amazing adventures with thousands of folk that appreciate all that you stand for. Keep those cameras rolling lads (and lasses)!
Matt's videos are a delight to watch because of the great people who have the expertise to get a job done. An added treat is the engine sound of the Yellow Banana. It's boss.
Great friends Paul and Matt, they help each other out, what ever the problem is. Matt's off road recovery and fab rats, best channels to watch very entertaining.......
Do you remember the old time standby that was used by EVERYONE, didn't need towers, only needed to be within range to work ! CB radio! Still works today.
I still use it......that was the first thing I put in my brand new 84 Yota 4wd pickup....was a CB radio. And then Lockers. I have a Midland mobile GMRS that is going to supplement it soon.
Matt..."...driveline so perfect, can't tell when in 4wd..." as his hand pats his back...lol.... the Banana's a beast kinda surprised you don't attach flags to middle of tow rope when towing on street
Don't work! Years ago I was towing my son home, with flashing lights on the roof and flags on the rope. Came to a roundabout, do they call them Circles in US? Anyway I had priority so off I went. A car then came on from another direction , straight bettween the two us, about 12 to 15 feet gap! I hit brakes Tom hit brakes. other car bounced back. Out get's driver, 'Oh I thought I had room to get bettween you'. REALLY? , by the way, is that Driving Instructors sign on the top of your car really yours?
@@davidreynolds731 Maybe he meant 'mending fences' with his girlfriend in the figurative/idiomatic sense, i.e. they had an argument and were having some make-up lovin'...
Good job Paul, Keep them on their toe's! Tired from working all day and the good person he is, trying to help someone out, gets a "I made a call" tee shirt...
This was one of the first videos I ever watched when I was just discovering this channel. I had no idea who Paul was. Now that I've been watching all the fabrication on the different vehicles and enjoying Fab Rats and some of your other friends channels, I just watched this the second time and it is one of the best videos ever.
In an area like that, how viable would having a CB in the jeeps be? Here In the North Georgia mountains CB's have helped me find stranded people. Might work for you guys!
A satellite communication device is very nice to have for back country travel in places with no cell phone service. They are a lot less expensive than they used to be. I got a Bivy Stick a couple of years ago.
That sounds like Paul was the perfect example of "No good deed goes unpunished". Very kind of Paul to try to help the guy, though! Wise of Rudy to park next to the road and wait! Again, thank you for sharing!
@@MattsOffRoadRecovery I've seen the team with radios precisely once and it's kinda weird that they don't honestly given the locations. Especially as some modern radios even include GPS beacons!
THIS IS THE BEST CHANNEL ON RU-vid I'm subbed for life you guys are funnier and more entertaining than any other video on earth I love it and ED is so awsome!💪☝️👍
