I think it's incorrect to see BRICS as anti-West. BRICS mainly creates alternative options for interested parties (its members are increasing), instead of "WB" , "IMF", "Washington Consensus"... If the West's influence is reduced due to BRICS, then it's side-effect, rather than its original goal.
This video can't reach every European citizen - for most of them is watching main-stream-medias - so the governments are owning the brains of those who are electing them. Alex Krainer is the only geopoltical analyst who is very knowledgeable who understand the big picture, as shown in his introductory remarks, everybody else provides partial and limited information at best. He is my favorite analyst.
The US needs to 1) withdraw from NATO; 2) withdraw from South Korea and Syria, Germany and other foreign bases; 3) pay down our debt; 4) align with countries that we can trade with for mutual benefit: 4) defund the Ukraine and Gaza wars.
Why the eff should the US Govt pay down the US Public Debt? That would be suicidal. If the US left NATO, it would cease to exist. NATO is an instrument of control over Europe for the US. But this is probably the best most important high level exposition of the seismic shift taking place in geo-strategic politics imaginable. Bravo, Alex! This is one of the best videos I've seen in ages. Mr. Krainer is thoroughly grounded in reality. He used the word "collateral" exactly as it functions in global finance. No one in political economy does this. Macro traders do, but they are not involved in the political side. They just make profits. Fantastic show, Nima.
