Shoes look great important point don’t go to the range wearing your trainers you will get far more power distance and traction wearing golf shoes I use spike less ones…

What would you game between spineless and spiked (if weather is not a factor)?

Proper shoes are absolutely as important as properly fitted clubs. Most obvious on course vs a range mat. I'm a good 5-10 strokes lower HCP with spikes vs sneakers. Simply unplayable if there's dew/rain and you're hitting on any kind of slope. If you read greens with aim point, wearing not only the right shoes but the SAME shoes is important so you don't have different feel in your feet. Caveat, it might not make any difference if the player doesn't engage their lower body in the swing.

Are there any fitting centres for this in Ireland? Can't find any online.

The best case would be to go to a golf store that has a simulator where you can try them for a few shots.

@@bunkered so just buy a size 9 spiked, which is my size and I’ll get the same result? I don’t need any special fitting? My feet are pretty normal as far as I know.
