I like Michael so this isn't an attack, but not having any sex of any kind until marriage with your spouse is puritanical behaviour? The position that Christians and Jews have had for like 4-5 thousand years. This puritanical view has always been the view in Christendom, not our fault that the world decided to change its standards, as it endlessly and always does, while we chose to stay the same.

@@KFontLab Real Jesus freaks are real Christians that are Bible based and historical as well as those who are overall aiming to be loyal to Christ. Normies are weak or cultural Christians or the progressive Christian traitors. Jesus freak is a compliment in my book. Only people who practice abstinence for the reason of for God is an example of a real Jesus freak. There are ither examples.

I'm not a "puritanical" anything, my mom is and she's been married and divorced twice, marriage number three seems to be sticking. My husband and I have been married 22 years and together for 25 years, it's about being on the same page when it comes to all the important things, trust, and communication.

In the context of the video the puritanical is the “values” shared between two Christian’s. The values they share for Christ helps them be successful not only in marriage but in life and all facets of their life from how they build one another to their wealth/ managing resources. Outside of Christianity for non religious people. If you and your spouse share common values the likelihood of a happy marriage is in your favor. It doesn’t have to be Christian moral values. Although I’ll argue that the moral values in the Bible are many that people take from. (By this I mean Gods moral values) and claim it as their own unique values.

Yes, men often times cheat in relationships and are also abusive in different ways such as verbal abuse, emotional abuse. This can drive a woman to go crazy and realize she needs a change no matter how conservative she is.

Women cheat at equal rates to men. Verbal and emotional abuse is more likely to be women(think of one of those moms) they even get away with it public especially towards children. Abuse is rare and most cases are mutual combat where they are hitting each other. When they researched domestic violence cases where one partner was hitting the other with no retaliation it was 70% women. So women are 70% of those who initiate violence and then hit their partner one sidedly. When they polled women who left their marriages most of them rated their marriage 7 or 8 out of 10 and only left because they weren't happy or for financial reasons. Ofcourse there are those who leave for cheating but that is not the majority. The majority are irreconcilable differences.

See I’m glad that I’m a virgin and I’ve been in a healthy relationship with my boyfriend for two and a half years. It’s been especially hard for him though because he is not a virgin and this was before he came to Christ, he had sex and I’ve forgiven him because he’s said to me that he regrets that. They may be mindful of the type of standard Jesus/God holds to marriage... so they want to be absolutely sure they are going to be married to avoid separation/divorce. They could still be discussing what they see happening for their future or what they want.

@@arcguardian I agree, we should’ve been married by now, my boyfriend agrees as well, we just didn’t have very good paying jobs then and we were so close to having a car of our own after a year into our relationship. He wanted to put the car in my name, but my parents said no because their stupid reason was what if they split up that would mean he wouldn’t have a car. My boyfriend only didn’t do that because he wanted to earn my fathers respect. Now two and a half years later we finally have a car, it does have some problems, but now we are finally able to properly save for the wedding.
