Nice hit on that nugget Adam. Good info on what the old timers were looking for. It looked like you took that second nugget out of your tooth brother.😂😂 Great video.😎😎⛏⛏🔥🔥
@@IBRAKEFORBEDROCK You need to go in the canyon Boulderdash is in Adam! Unless he kicked you out, just kidding you! Happy New Year's Adam and keep the awesome videos coming!
Wow another great video! Wish I could get my detector over one piece of gold. It's been three years now without one piece. I do have one quick question for you. It you find a few nuggets up out of the washes on the hill sides would there be any smaller gold with them. I have found a hill in Morristown on one of the claims that they have been finding a few nuggets. I was thinking of taking some samples from that area to see if there is some small gold mixed in. I have detected around the outer edges of where they were getting nuggets, and have only found a few bbs. Thanks Red
Best wishes toward the New Year, thanks for all the entertainment in 2023, looking forward to more in 2024. Take care and stay safe. ⛏⚒⛏ Howdy from southwestern Oregon!
Awesome finds man! 👍 Lol everytime I start getting discouraged I just watch another one of your videos and it gets me excited to get back out there and try again!
Happy New Year Adam. great advice there too. I still think that anybody with a gold monster, or a gold bug 2 and or an SD2300 and a little bit of prospecting knowledge can go out and find a spot and remove some overburden and find some gold. Think smart, dig everything and you don't need a $6000 detector.
I detected my first nuggets in Quartzsite last February! We are gearing up to go again this February! I had an article in the November/December GPAA magazine if you want to see them! I am not a writer, but got out of my comfort zone! They even put my picture on the cover! Hope you have a great year!
Nice looking nuggets you found. I have come accross many of those vertical shafts here at Quartzsite, some that are not fenced, which is pretty sobering when you think about it.
You work very good to get your gold good job) 👍 i watch you all the time its kool seeing how you extract the gold from some places nice work thanks for sharing 👍
Thanks so much Bill , Glad you stopped by to watch ! Unfortunately they just raised prices again on Minelabs. A Gold Monster 1000 is priced at 1K now 🙄 Its rediculous
That’s amazing! Great find! When you find a nice nugget like that, do you tend to collect the surrounding paydirt to process and pan out later? I’d be so tempted to dig and dig around if I ever found a nugget! So far, the Gold Bug 2 and I have found nothing but scrap. However, I am able to find the smallest pieces of foil and birdshot at roughly 4” to 8” deep so I don’t think I’m terrible at using the thing. 😂 Great work! You’ve got me thinking about a GoldMonster 1000 now. Great advice on bringing a target nugget too. 🤙🏼
No, I never really take samples from where a nugget was found. If I found a spot with a bunch of nuggets, then maybe i`d come back with a drywasher if it were possible. As for the Gold Monster 1000, find a used one. Lots of closet queens in mint condition out there. Personally, I think Minelab needs to re-design the Gold monsters ergonomics, and coils.
@@IBRAKEFORBEDROCK I don't know I have some hope of finding big nuggets, I had a dream before I come here I'm collecting gold nuggets and fill my pockets, 🤣, I had no idea there is some gold in Arizona, hopefully the dream comes true.
I had the same thought as David regarding it looking like gold from the Q area. My thought was somewhere in La Cholla or in certain parts of the Plomosa mountains.
Hey Adam quick favor if you could what are you running for settings/ digital on the 5k . I'm headed back to Cali next week to nugget hunt and I can't remember what I had it set at and a buddy switched it all around on me. Much appreciated if you could run the numbers down
I was not on the claim for sale. We dont prospect there any longer in consideration of a potential new owner. I have seen much better nuggets found on the claim for sale.
Looking forward to another year of content adam thx for sharing see you on the next one👍🏼👊🏼p.s. sure boulderdash let’s Jeff Williams film on his claim but not you pffft… lol
RU-vidrs are definitely not the smartest group of people. They show everyone all the gold that they found and show how its done and give away all their secrets. Then complain when theres people everywhere doing it. lol Real miners back in the day would go to their graves with their secret places and techniques.
Theres a lot of gold out there for people to find. More than I will ever get in a lifetime. Only a nugget head would get super paranoid about other people finding gold too. With that said, I do try to limit giving away landmarks on video, and we definitely do not always show all the gold found.
Pains me to see the order in which you put the rocks from the scoop in your hand without checking/running your hand as well as the scoop. Think about it, you'll learn
Nice looking nuggets you found. I have come accross many of those vertical shafts here at Quartzsite, some that are not fenced, which is pretty sobering when you think about it.
@@IBRAKEFORBEDROCK - I know locations of vertical or very steep shafts in both hard rock and gravel, presumably to get to the bedrock and do some drift mining. A friend wants to explore them, so someday I might round up the appropriated safety gear and give it a try. We were just talking about it last night.
@@luckylancealcott5268 There is a gold prospecting shop in Quartzsite, you can join the quartzite metal detecting club for an annual fee. That will give you plenty of places to go.
