NO THEY FUCKING DONT. Dwight doesn’t do anything or want to do anything past his prime/first 2-5 seasons because it wasn’t fun being stronger and jumping higher than everyone. He just wanted to have fun and fly in for put back dunks or play against soft, less skilled, or mismatch matchups. NO ONE FORGETS THAT DWIGHT DIDNT GIVE A SHIT ONCE HE HAD TO WORK HARD OR LOST THE SKILLED TEAMMATES THAT SPACES HIS LANES AND THREW HIM THE LOBS. Why did he have so many rebounds? Because he has no post game and would bounce baby hooks and bad one hand shots off the rim and glass a couple times before putting back his misses. He wasn’t padding on purpose, he just knew he can out jump and shoulder players until he can put the ball directly into the basket with two hands, aka just dunk. The moment his game requires basketball skill and IQ, Fuhgeddaboutit. I repeat: NO ONE FORGETS ABOUT DWIGHT HOWARD AND NO ONE NEEDS TO REMIND ANYONE ABOUT DWIGHT HOWARD.
