I think the saddest part about the five-year-jump from him being Robin to Nightwing is that we lost his adorably creepy little prankster laugh. I miss it...
@@bettiecrosby8042 Right? This is one of the shows where I wish there had actually been more filler/character focused episodes where they just kinda got to know eachother more as teens rather than heroes. (The old gang of course)
@@TheUnseenPath in Teen Titans he was very serious mainly because he had just left Batman and I'm pretty sure and most of the comics after he leaves Batman he goes through like a serious Phase
wish they didn't do the 5 year time skip and maybe only 2 years or something so we could've gotten more of him as robin I love nightwing but he's sm more fun as robin
@@chrono-glitchwaterlily8776 and they aren't used to it as the times they spent with him as the season went on they get used to it but kid flash just absolutely hate him doing that
That's an ability of Batman's taught to all the Robins, my favourite showcase of it was in a comic where Red Hood works with Supergirl, and vanishes, leaving her confused as to how he managed to escape without alerting her super hearing
You Can't Prove I Exist No he means the characters dude. They may be the same person but they act and are different. Although I disagree because I like The Young Justice one more.!
@@lemanruss3309 Yeah thats a big PLUS...but portrayal matters alot...like in the recent movies they have nerfed him so bad, which is a disgrace to the world's MOST RENOWNED superhero partner !
Dick’s laugh is very obviously meant to be his take on the manipulation of the “cowardly and superstitious lot” Batman does. Same technique of blending into the shadows until the moment of best opportunity. Using the laugh makes it more unsettling, rather than just scary. And his silence in the early missions says a lot about how he performs with Batman. Silent, always knowing exactly what each other do. Makes his eventual growth into a leader mean more.
best part is that he genuinely acts like a 13 year old sure he'll say something way to deep for his age every now and then but being batman's sidekick and having your parents die at 9 would surely make you wise up a lot faster than most kids
K I W I they act completely different. Robin cracked jokes during fighting while Nightwing is more serious as he grew up. Both are good but we should have seen more of him as robin.
I love Dick Grayson in all his forms, but I think Robin is my favorite. No matter what he’s just...a good person trying his best. Also, no powers AND kicks ass. We approve.
what i love about this robin is that he still acts like a kid, even in dire situations, he still cracks a few jokes here and there, THIS version of robin is kind of like a powerless spider man, and i just love it
Omg I love Robin. He gets along with girls and kids so well. I love him. Woowwwe, that line with him voluntarily giving up leading was so mature and that was 100x better writing than him getting jealous. Props to young justice. I love how squalid knows too he’s like “aw you’re born to lead. Not yet but soon.” Sooo foreshadows and I love it.
5:06 to 5:11 The reason why that's the first thing Batman taught Robin is because the utility belt is full of Bat Credit Cards, the utility belt was probably a stand in because Batman doesn't want anyone else knowing about it.
8:14 Mosquitoes can kill elephant you know and so do germs or whatever pity insults villains use lmao, be careful kids mosquitoes and germs can give you fatal diseases
Nope, he's 13. Wally and Artemis are 15 in this series. I think Wally turns 16 in this season. Robin is 13 going on 14. There was an episode--the amnesia one in the desert--where Dick finds out the date and says, "September, what happened to March?" Dick Grayson is supposed to be born on March 21st, which is usually the first day of spring. This means that Dick is about seven months away from turning 14 in this series. If he seems more muscular than your average 13-14 year old, that is likely due to the fact that Dick trains all the time with Bruce and goes out as Robin.
Are we gonna talk about how Dick was one of the few people in the BatFam that wasn't best friends with someone from the SuperFam.... like, Dick's best friend was Wally, (his next closest friend was of course Conner Kent *Superboy*)..... Also who was the best gf for Dick, because I believe Kory (Starfire) was definitely the best... they also have a child in the comics so....
This period of Dick Grayson's life it's not only our favorite, I mean, in season 3 when he has the KF dream during the mission and he was back to those days 🥺😭💖 he said it himself "I haven't feel this happy in a long time" 😭💖😭💖😭💖
samuel amare I don’t think season 3’s characters were bad, they just had too many people to include. That meant not enough screen time to develop all of them. The other thing is I think there were too many people with accents..? Idk I kinda got tired of listening to them, but that’s just me.
‘Well we hate to see u disturbed, let’s see if you more turbed when we kick your can’ Ok, I feel like if he purposefully makes up words he knows aren’t real, just because he doesn’t care about the English language
Coming across clips of this show really reminded me how much I loved and had fun wit the first season Such a great show and Aqualad was such a great character besides Robin
