If any of you guys are looking for really awesome priced essential oils I recommend Art Naturals and Plant Therapy :) I prefer the scent of Art Naturals more often but they are both amazing brands. :)
Please stop supporting MLM brands. Theres so many more pure essential oils brands out there that dont require you to ingest oils, purchase other products containing oils (ex: cleaners), or overusejust so you can buy more of their product. Please do your research and consider becoming aromatherapy certified, instead of making false claims that you are fed through your pyramid scheme company. You dont have education or an initiative on this topic, similar to granola moms at home on the internet.
I don’t make any false claims... I have done my research and I have my opinions as of now.. also they don’t “require” you to do anything! I’m just sharing my experience, opinions and what I like and actually use in my everyday life 💕
I’m a licensed cosmetologist, and everyone keeps asking me about Monat and their products, and I’ve seen some RU-vid hairstylists that I used to follow get sucked into this MLM. Now I know the importance of using quality salon grade products on your hair, but I will not even try Monat! Just a shampoo, a small 10oz bottle is like $80! That’s insanity! Now, there are claims (and it’s going to court I believe) that certain products are causing people to lose their hair! Moral of the story: Nothing good can come from an MLM! Anyhow, I’d love to know what some of your favorite synergy blends from EG are!
You are sending your subscribers to the wrong message.DO NOT INGEST!!!! You guys are not doctors, always making claims that these oils could even cure cancer hey even go off your antidepressants. 🤣 No thanks I’ll stay on mine. Sure they’re nice to smell in the diffuser and relieve your anxiety a little but my god this is not a cure-all. SNAKEOIL.. Why would people even put this in their water or cook with it. How about using a real lemon or real herbs. This is so scary. MLM’s are crazy. If anyone is looking for any good essential oil’s for half the price or more try plant therapy.com they are great.
karen ex Wow! I just checked that out...this guy was like a mad scientist/scam artist! No wonder why people who work on commission can’t make any claims or really say anything about their oils, they need to cover their behinds as a company. That’s crazy...
Please watch ‘Genetically Modified Skeptic’s video on Young Living, he speak from personal experience about all the shady stuff to do with the brand/cult
@@NikkiPhillippi I at least hope you don't agree with the idea that oils can cure disease or depression or insomnia. Those are the claims of young living. Not to mention their disgusting and despicable founder. I'm glad he's dead.
I absolutely LOVE Young Living Essential Oils! I am obsessed with my starter kit and use at least one of the oils literally every single day. There really is a huge difference between high quality oils from Young Living and what's found in stores.. HUGE difference. Not just in the way they smell but also... other brands have not helped me with my health like Young Living has. And the Thieve's household cleaner is no joke amazing! And Ningxia!
The downfalls of working with an MLM company, can’t even say what you want in a video. It’s too bad, I would probably love Young Living if it wasn’t an MLM! While I do have a few products from them because I find them unique, I don’t feel the need, nor can I afford to pay an arm and a leg for the product, plus people’s’ salaries and commissions. Not to mention, there are some great companies out their with AMAZING EO’s that are actually affordable.🤷🏻♀️
It’s the same thing working for any brand... not just an MLM:( and even just being in the public eye to a certain degree... every time I work with a brand the video has to go through legal... they have to make sure they won’t get sued.
NikkiPhillippi Im just going to agree to disagree on this one. I really love you and your lifestyle, I love watching all of your videos, I think you’re amazing, but YL is questionable, as with any MLM, in my opinion. I follow a lot of EO’s accounts, and people who talk about EO’s from other companies, I don’t see them having to take down their videos, and they’re free to say what they say, like some of the uses for each oil and things YL does not allow you to say. Example: I’m a licensed cosmetologist, and people constantly ask me what I think about Monat products, and I will not try them because they come from an MLM and are outrageously priced, even to stylists. And I as a stylist, completely understand the importance of using quality salon grade products on the hair. They also let anyone sell their products. Even people who have no clue about hair or how to give advice to someone on which products to choose. Same with YL, anyone can sell it. I have a problem with that no matter what the MLM is selling. Which in turn, knocks the price up so people can make off of it? It’s just not my thing...
BlackThornRose127 also legitimate brands don’t ask you to only say certain things about the products even after purchase! this raises a lot of red flags right off the bat!
likedbylaura I didn’t even think about it that way! Like when someone does a sponsorship with a makeup company or something of that sort, they typically always send you the product(s) for free. But here, these products were purchased, yet because of the MLM structure, a “market partner” still can’t say what they want about whatever products they spent their money on? Yep...something’s not right.
I sprayed the little thieves spray that my mother n law gave me for the gym at my job on all the mouses, keyboards and pens and door handles and I had so many customers asking what the smell was that it smelt so good . She gave it to me for the gym because I was getting a gym rash and I had chigger bites and it helped them go away so quickly. Crazy stuff !
I'm in two minds about you having to redo the video. I guess for certain Young Living members the compliance things stand, but with you, us as your subscribers love having your experience & your honest opinions from your use of products! I'm here for your expertise on products you have used & know you'd be giving honest feedback. Glad you're approaching it with a positive attitude though, it felt a bit disheartening when you first mentioned getting called out for the compliance rules, but you responded so positively & professionally! Having said that, you're the person who has sparked my interest in oils & I live for your feedback & tips on how to use them xxx
Thank you! Yes... it is a huge bummer actually and I totallyyyy get what you mean... I had to weigh it out for months... but after stewing on it I realized it was probably best for me personally to be “compliant” anyways... I just want to encourage people to research and take charge of their health! I love using my oils 😭 thank you for being so sweet.. I appreciate that 💕
I'd advise everyone to thoroughly research Young living and it's roots. Sorry Nikki, I think you're a great person but i can't support you supporting such a company. I hope you realize what a scam it is soon enough yourself.
@@susansegovia3224 Oils can be helpful but dont buy from Young Living. Its a scam it's founder was arrested multiple times for selling potentually dangerous alternate medicines under fraudulent claims. He also killed his own baby when trying to birth her himself without any professional because he birthed her in a pool and held her under too long. Thats not the kind of person you want to trust with your health and money.
I love your video and personality! My husband and son used to think I was over using my EOs until they started to see results. I loved what you said about "plane air". When my son saw me spraying my lemon EO spray he said "mom!" and later was asking me for it to clean the tray with :-) thank you for your video! You are honest, genuine, and funny!
I love that you’ve been doing oil videos recently, please don’t stop just because of MLM comments; a lot of your subscribers (me included) love YL and would love to hear your thoughts!
I have done my research and watched all the videos (probably not literally “ALL” but you get my gist.. lol) and I don’t agree.... it hasn’t been my experience and I definitely have different opinions. Thank you though for looking out!
MLM SCAM ALERT!!!!! DONT FALL IN!! YOUNG LIVING OILS are not pure, They've been tested by independent labs and shown to contain synthetics!!!! Google it for yourself.
I love you and I love your videos as well. I am a big believer in Young living and have spent tons of money on my ER orders. I can see where people are coming from though, it really leaves a bad taste in my mouth when the people above me push it on me. That is when I don’t buy as much. I was talking to one of my friends who also uses the oils and we are in agreement in saying that it lowers the quality of the product when it is used in marketing in anyway😞
I like young living but I do think they are very overpriced. Idk maybe I would think they are worth the money, but after extensively using my started kit, I’ve only noticed a difference in terms of smell. I do believe they work for some people but it hasn’t works for me
Well at least you know now!...plus the starter kit is such an insane deal! That’s what I love about it! If it’s not for you, then you didn’t really “waste” money since everything ends up being cheaper than you could buy it from the store! I’m glad at least you didn’t hate it all! Haha 😘
Love that you’re doing this! I’m now with Young Living but these kinds of businesses have completely changed my life and financial future. Thank you for normalizing this! Too many people are missing out because they just don’t understand how to work in this field. 💛 Anyway, thanks for sharing! I may check out this company! 💛
LOVE lemon :) So versatile. DiGize is amazing - my favorite way to take it is once or twice a week if needed in water (as a shot). It's hard to choose just one! Definitely economical to start with the kit!
Hi Nikki, I've heard certain oils are bad/dangerous for animals, specifically lavender, I'm assuming you haven't had any issues with your pups reacting to you diffusing oils, is this just a myth I've heard?
I have heard that yes, but my dogs have never had anyyyy kind of reaction at all + idk what kind of oils were tested for those trials... IE: purity? Not sure... I only know my dogs have never reacted and people say YL in general is safe for animals ❤️ follow your gut and do what feels best for your fam!😊
It’s not a myth. Be careful a lot of animals have died especially cats. And it doesn’t matter if it’s Do Terra or Young living or any other essential oil brand. They can be very dangerous for pets
Shanae Scott Essential oils can be bad for animals I have done some research and lavender is safe for pets, I have in fact with vet approval used it on my dog with no negative effects! Some of the bad essential oils for animals are tea tree, cinnamon, citrus, pennyroyal, pine, sweet birch and ylang ylang. These as far as I can tell can only harm animals through skin contact or ingesting them. No difference is made by who makes the oil. Just avoid them and get advice on using essential oils on or in close proximity with dogs from your vet 😊
@@isobelduckworth3824 thank you! I'm personally a fan of EO but only diffuse them in my bedroom where my animals aren't allowed, it's a shame animals are sensitive to citrus because I'd love my whole house to smell lemony fresh lol Nikki sold me on this starter kit ... great Christmas gift idea
I love and watch every video you make❤️❤️ one day when I get the money (and am not a broke college student) I WILL buy this starter kit!😅😂❤️ in the meantime, i’ll just watch you live your best oil life 😅❤️
Did you know that the founder of young living Donald Gary Young, delivered his daughter in a whirlpool and held her underwater for nearly an hour and resulted in her death, and his list goes on. I’m so sorry that you guys are wasting your money on this junk.
I absolutely love YL oils. Have been using them for 7 years since my wife introduced them into our home. No issues with our cats whatsoever. Please do real research into the oils from a scientific standpoint and why they are useful. Truly know that not all oils are created equal. Store oils are not the same quality as YL and if you've never used YL oils on a consistent basis then you really have no credibility backing your argument about why not to use them. Last but not least mlm is one of the best business models around if you know what they are capable of and how they truly work.
Young Living is proven to add synthetics to there oils. they lie and say that they dont but if you get yours checked in a lab theyll tell you the truth.
Buying an mlm starting kit doesn't make You a small business owner. I enjoy your video before but now u start mlm nonsense stuff. Young living oils who sells them , they all say the same thing ( cure headache, cure my child tantrums, helps my mood, helps fight cold flu etc.) What else does it do?! Scam people to think that it works on everything. Sorry but it's not and way too overpriced
The true downfall... people not understanding MLMs are a way of the future for retail and also....if you have a job congratulations- you are helping someone else’s dreams come true instead of building your own business and making your OWN dreams come true. You go Nikki, keep doing what you’re doing!! ❤️❤️❤️
Except that a real job comes with job security, a fair wage, pension, health care, labor laws, proper training, etc. MLMs involve someone paying their own money (and often lots of it and going into debt!) just to be eligible to sell the product and trying to "build their business". MLMs often prey on vulnerable people and approx 98% of MLMers DONT MAKE MONEY!
I use these oils for myself! It isn't a SCAM to get wholesale prices for top quality oils! You buy the kit and get wholesale prices, I have NO pressure to sell or buy! I signed up under a girl in December and she has never pressured me to sell. I was also with DoTerra and never any pressure to sell. If you want to make a business with it then go for it, me personally I love the oils and know how I feel when I use them!
Lauren Haynes it’s actually not the same thing. I am an aromatherapist and oils that you get at the grocery store are not pure, often diluted and you don’t get the same therapeutic benefits. You get what you pay for 💁🏼♀️
Jennifer Barstead If you are an aromatherapist, you know that there are companies out there that sell 100% therapeutic grade oils, but are much more affordable because you’re purchasing directly from the company. So on one hand, yes you do get what you pay for quality wise...unless you’re purchasing from someone who is making commissions off of you, then you really don’t get all that you pay for.
Not everyone who becomes a member with YL joins to make money. I certainly don’t. I joined YL to get the oils at wholesale prices, because I want good quality oils and a few other products. Those of you saying that YL is a “pyramid scheme” need to know that “pyramid schemes” are illegal. Those of you that are saying that YL is a cult? Really? Those of you saying that you shouldn’t ingest oils? I think that is a persons own decision. I have been ingesting YL’s EOs for many years and have never had an adverse reaction to them. It’s really no different that someone ingesting olive oil or coconut oil.
Im new to your channel and can’t wait to see what your channel is all about. And also I’m new to RU-vid and I’m a brand partner with Young Living and love the the natural plant based products with Young Living ❤
please go to pubmed.gov and get an aromatherapy research education. have you ever looked up the term 'Food flavoring', food companies have used essential oils as preservatives and flavorings for foods for a very long time. Sonic Lime-aids are a pretty popular summer drink, guess what's in it? a whole LIME, squeezed...that means essential oils from the rind are in EVERY single Cherry lime-aid drink sold, legally. I've been consuming Young Living citrus oils over 12 years now and am healthier in my 50's than I was in my 30's and early 40's. Anything you put on your skin is being ingested, because your skin is your largest organ, so people advising others to use cheap oils are actually encouraging the ingestion of synthetic adulterants. I'm thankful to Gary Young for his work and his big heart to help people, I owe him my life. What he taught us was a way to LIVE well with clean hearts and purity of motives.
Nikki, I'm so impressed with the way you handle negative comments. You have over a million subscribers and you still manage to respond to most comments, even the negative ones, with so much class. We all have our own opinions, but to put someone down because their opinion is different than yours is just ignorant. Love and respect ❤️
She is a bad person? Shame on her? Are you serious?! This video is about essential oils and its benefits, no one if forcing anyone to join MLM, people have free will
I don’t know why people are being so negative on this video. Love that you are sharing about the oils and how much you love them 😍 I love the positive community surrounding young living and I’m so sad to see how close minded people are. Sending you good vibes
Summer Eli I’m not trying to make money. I never said that. I’ve used young living oils before and I love them. I use to be apart of an MLM so I completely understand how they work, and although I’m not apart of one anymore I definitely don’t think they are as bad as people make them out to be. I know girls who make bank building teams and talking about product they love
