And while I also absolutely admit that I would want the music I made and would be angry about it, but I would of fought with that issue and had to deal with it when first choosing to put my signature on that contract. Every other new artist in that position has had to do the same thing. But you have to also understand that the record company is the one who takes all the risk when signing an artist especially a new undiscovered artist. The record company is the one forking out all the money to record the album and the promotional costs and everything else involved. How do you think they get that money back, but also have it a business that makes a profit to grow the company? Yes selling restricted view tickets are normal. This typically means there is a pillar or something blocking at least part of the view of the stage They are usually the ridiculously cheapest seats because of the restriction and the ones most available as most people actually want to SEE the show. The mom likely only got those seats on the day of the concert precisely because they were cheap and the only ones available that she could get.

You keep saying stolen, but are hanging on semantics. Scott had given a verbal agreement that taylor would be able to buy back her records, then sold them to scooter without giving her that chance. I would feel like my work was stolen too. Scooter had also harassed taylor quite a bit by this point, and then tried to force her to stay in a new crappier contract. None of that is disputed. Taylor never asked her fans to go after either man, but she wasn't going to stay quiet about what she felt was an injustice. Scooters wife harassed taylor too, so she isn't innocent. Not to mention they both ignored the mother of a dead kid who taylor wrote a song about, when she asked them to give up rights to that song or let taylor buy it back.
