The corrupt judge who got caught breaking the law and was called out by the attorney then finds him in contempt. He needs to be disbarred and removed from the bench
I wouldn't call him corrupt. What I will say is that Judge Glanville messed up BIGTIME, and he knows it. That's why he wants to find out who told the defense so that he can punish them for HIS malfeasance.
NaySayers, make NO mistake. That lawyer is very well known and respected in that area. He'll no doubt file a complaint to the judicial ethics board of the Georgia Supreme Court. That judge WILL have to answer for what he did. Stay tuned, I wouldn't be surprised if he lifts that contempt charge and tries to apologize to him. I think the damage is done though.
He should have just granted it. It's gonna end in acquittal and the prosecution and judge gonna look dumb as hell while they throwing up YSLs walking out free as hell.
This clown Judge has just given away the trial to appeal and is probably going to be hit with some legal repurcussions - which are completely warranted.
Maybe, but if anything happens it won’t be close to the punishment the judge should get as these government officials are all above the law. They’ll be able to just retire or quit when in reality they should be behind bars like regular people would be for the shit they do. Hell, any legal repercussions could take years. Happened with a corrupt judge in my smaller town. Took 6 years for anything to happen after he illegally locked up a women who called the cops on the judges secretary for stealing at the gas station she worked at and the judge had the cops go to her house later that day and threw her in jail for 2 months… the judge was able to just retire and nothing else ever happened. Still got all his retirement money and everything…
Glanville: If you don't tell me who told you about the meeting we weren't supposed to have, I'm going to put you in jail for finding out. Glanville, you should be the one serving time. Give that black robe to Goodwill, you have no idea what it's supposed to represent.
If anybody belongs in jail it's judge Glanville for running this damn trial in the ground and for what its cost the Fulton County residence that are paying his salary and covering the costs and expenses of the DA's office trying this case if our County was ever in desperate need of a sheriff a DA and new judges my God Fulton County is ready
The part that got me was when Woody said they picked him up not for probation violation or anything, but just to question him, and the Judge all of a sudden wants to end court for today.
@@treyvondadon Yea this case is bs anyway, I mean I won’t say it wasn’t violence in the streets, but how they got Woody talking was from some girl that got jammed uo , and she gave Woody up, and he started giving everyone else up.
You mean the judge punished the attorney who called him out for holding illegal meetings to threaten a sworn witness. And he can't be held in contempt for making a motion in good faith, nor for breaking confidentiality. This judge is another example of why we need more safeguards to remove people in power.
Ashley Merchant and other lawyers filed with the Georgia Supreme Court right after that judge held Mr. Steele in contempt. The judge didn’t follow protocol by allowing Mr. Steele to have a hearing as he was being criminally charged with contempt of court. The judge was basically denying Mr. Steele HIS due process rights.
Fani Willis needs to be impeached or fired or resign either way she need to step. And I’m glad the attorney callled, Mrs. Love out with her gestures. Eye rolling, hand gestures, sound expression, now you better control yourself now.. you can tell she’s Willis protege, nc no class
This man can not defend himself when his attorney is behind bars. This case is about seeking justice. This Judge has overstepped his authority, and he should be removed from this case.
That judge MESSED UP bigtime. Not only does Young Thug have a great claim to a misstrial, but any guilty verdict will likey be overturned. Moreover, the judge will have to answer to Georgia Supreme Court why his had that meeting.
Did anyone else notice at about :43 seconds the reaction from the court reporter when Steele began to argue with the judge? Hmmm interesting. I have never ever seen a Stenographer react like that. Could she be the one who told him? If not, there seems to be a connection there in my opinion.
good eye, stenographers are basically like ghosts in the courtroom. they see all but they barely make any movement or noise. they are observers but she actually attempted to intervene... that does seem odd...
Whatever happens, judge Glanville is going to have a torrid time outside court. He could have held a balanced opinion but with his lack of knowledge on contempt and jailing mr steel for an error on his part has to have tipped the scales against him.
Watch him and the DA every time she can’t get the answer she want from the witness she start sending msg and two second later the corrupt judge start telling the witness to answer the d.a questions is like those two have their ways to communicate between them inside the court, check that moved from them !!!
This trial will end in a mistrial thanks to the judge's Ex parte meeting which was illegal!!!!! He will be the sole reason for this to be decided as a mistrial by a higher court!!!! Done deal!!! Thanks Judge! Idiot!!! Be safe Attorney Steele. You are a good man. A special thanks to Ashleigh Merchant! You are awesome lady!!!!
I learned that the average person doesn't know the law, so they are jumping to conclusion. The main word is KEY WITNESS! Which means they are having a meeting with a snitch. Which knowing who the SNITCH was is actually dangerous for the snitch. Most of us are ignorant so we wouldn't realize this
This is some highly illegal and unethical stuff going on, like it's one thing if the judge wants to talk to the witness because there is a concern but this isn't a secret squirrel meeting where the defense has no notice or ability to file motions. This is highly irregular for the defendants lawyer to not be aware. Like obviously witness intimidation, happens, the defendant themselves may not be able to be present for a meeting regarding it but their lawyer should be/know. This isn't a TV show where you have a "bad guy" lawyer. They are expected to act in a professional and ethical manner and if there is a serious concern you don't hold secret meetings that violate due process. That lawyer is removed by the judge and a formal bar complaint is taken. I don't even know the specifics of this case but it's clear this guy is getting railroaded.
this is such news that this meeting was exposed...i love how everyone if finally seeing how this judge and shady DA really are...catches up with you eventually!
Once again you see the complete incompetence of the judicial system. This judge literally broke state and federal laws with his "secret" meeting and punished the attorney who was legally obligated to call him out. ANY decision he makes will EASILY get overturned on appeal, he broke the law. This judge is not qualified to be a school crossing guard. He is in the same breath as Alito & Thomas in regards to corrupted thinking.
