Another black man convicted breaks my heart, but if he’s guilty then God showed mercy. He probably was tired of fighting since he knows he wasn’t totally guilt free. I’ve never listened to their music but daaaamn I’ve been following this case for a year, and let me just say- I’m so happy for these young men, I cried listening to their attorneys talk about their clients. The system is so corrupt. I hope everyone who watched realizes that there are so many people locked up right now just waiting and they have the shittiest judges. I want to investigate every case of atty love and judge Glenville. They are SO nasty!!!!Thank you to all of the defense attorneys and Ms. Whitaker. I always knew she would come through. I understand what he is saying about our Constitution BUT if this deal will keep him out of prison, then so be it. Rap music has given birth to violence and disrespect! YT’s dad was giving him worst advice ever! Finishing trial with all the nonsense intended to cause confusion the state was presenting, the jury very likely convicts and his life over. But to claim he is a criminal, without him being found guilty by a jury of his peers is the definition of unconstitutional and unAmerican. If you watched any of the case, you would know the DA wholly failed to prove their case. The fact that he would languish in jail unless he pleaded, without even the opportunity to bond out, in and of itself appears prejudicial and frankly unconstitutional.
Those poor families who lost loved ones and those individuals who become victims based off the gang related activities YSL were involved in to watch this trial and this horrible judge give these menaces a slap on the wrist. And the family of Donovan Thomas who has to witness the judge, the witnesses that were YSL members & the whole defense side make a mockery of his death. Laughing and joking about his death. I truly feel so bad for everyone negatively affected by this whole situation. This has got to be 1 hurtful outcome to watch the light sentences and the ring leader Jeffery walk free. I hope all the families & victims some way, some how get some type of real justice & closure. What a horrible outcome this trial has been.

Young Thug did take accountability by accepting the charges. You know someone and you are responsible for their actions…make that make sense. Do you understand surrounding yourself with the wrong people? He had no contact with them in the last five years. I hope no one has to deal with prosecutors who take half truth and half lies to make a case. Justice is not blind.
