That 5-way tie is suitable for an in game race series like GT World Cup, those are really good picks. R246 is well loved because it's the only Tokyo street track, the only real life layout Tokyo track, Expressway tracks are boring and mundane and replicate by their style.

My favorite was definitely Sierra... so many good memories of cruising around that behemoth with randos and having a fun time

Oh come on I knew for a dead fact that Grand Valley was going to be number 1 as soon as Le Mans and Nurburgring showed up. Remember, this is a list of our favourite GRAN TURISMO Circuits. Context is highly important in this scenario. When a racing game series like GT focuses on fictional circuits, more people are going to have more fond memories of said circuits. Grand Valley Speedway was not only in the series since GT1 as I mentioned a couple of times in different ways, but it is THE definitive fitional circuit for the series. Grand Valley 300KM is the most prolific endurance race and (at least by my numbers) it has been used as a single player race more than any other circuit aside from Laguna Seca (which I'm am surprised didn't make the list but I guess it's because other real life tracks are just more iconic irl). It's the kind of track where, prior to the Highway 1 redesign, you could feasibly see a point of history of it being used in motorsport racing and be one of the most iconic. My point is even more backed up by the fact all of the GT1 original circuits barring Test Course and smaller variations ended up on the list, including Special Stage Route 11. I mentioned it in my first comment, but the way that game was designed incorporating all of those tracks was so carefully thought out to make it engaging and full of variety is extremely commendable. Each of those tracks resonated with people regardless of the game in some way. For me it was the hyper whiplash of seeing a nighttime city circuit in a game full of daytime forest circuits. Autumn Ring is the short but technical playground filled with a beautiful fall aesthetic. High Speed Ring is, well, a high speed circuit kids can have an attachment to due to the map looking like a bear. And there's Trial Mountain and Deep Forest which also tick some of the real life circuit boxes, just in a smaller scale and also have a cozy atmosphere with literally driving through the forest. Finally, SSR11. A course with a very dedicated fanbase I don't think I can touch the surface on. At the end of the day, yes, Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps is probably the most famous real life track in the world for it's history and challenge, but being introduced in GT5 as DLC and then GT6 for full isn't enough to warp many people's memories of GT's Fictional masterpieces.

I was expecting Laguna Seca as the winner but it wasn't mentioned at all. Also a 5-way tie at tenth place? Now, that is wild. These results are really fun, I wonder what kind of ideas you're having in your mind for the next videos. Have a good one, Mike!

Grand Valley Highway is one of the few tracks in GT7 that feels great in slower cars

Laguna Seca not in top 10, wow, but glad to see Sonoma/Infineon get top 10 love (coming from a local)

Tbh I think GV Speedway is fair, literally every corner was amazing no matter the cars we used

0:42 I seriously hate Road Atlanta. I have zero orientation on the track and I keep flying off the road multiple times a row. It took me over 10 minutes to even complete the first sector in track experience.

Funny enough the reason I believe spa is so low is because like me, when I think gran turismo, I don’t think of real world tracks I always go to the originals first

NBRing is my go-to favorite, and Tokyo Expressway, and whatever that coast road in USA is. Basic answers, but I’ve clocked more laps on either of those than any other tracks edit: grand valley, that’s it. I’m shocked it was #1 but not surprised it was in top 10

I'm proud of this community that they voted for the Seattle Circuit. However, considering Polyphony's logic, they will add the track nobody voted for.

I'm surprised Rome Circuit didn't make the list.

I think I chose Spa, but no Mount Panorama? I think that people may hate always crashing into the barriers at the top and getting penalties, lol.

Laguna Seca not being in the Top 10 is wild

It's a shame that the old circuits that we all would like in GT7 will perhaps never return, for example Silverstone or Monaco and even Rome,rally tracks too,top Gear track was goated too and in gt5 the Jeff gordon challenge even the WRC and NASCAR cars and more like all the 1000+cars and all the good tracks that we already see in the previous games that make me sad anyways we Hope that this month we Will get a good update big update coming in gt7

Quick question, since ive seen you mention this in a few videos. Why do you feel that Deep Forest has lost more of its original charm vs Trial Mountain? Like they both have received heavy modifications in their final corners, but are otherwise fairly close recreations of their orignal designs (i know that Deep Forest had the corner before the back straight tightened, and Trial Mountain got its straights stretched, but these are very minor changes imo). Likewise of their significantly redesigned corners, I find Trial Mountain's significantly more offensive, as it removed one of the most iconic corners in GT history with one of the clumsiest, most awkward section of track ever conceived by man, while Deep Forest replaced 2 fairly nondescript corners with a unoffensive hairpin (actually reminds me alot of La Source from Spa in fact), that personally I find flows quite well with the circuit. Was hoping you would elaborate on your opinion here (Personally of all the GT7 redesigns, I dislike Grand Valley the most. I felt as the most realistic of the OG tracks, part of its character was how "real" it felt, which obvs goes out the window with the Highway redesign)

I find it surprising with how many tracks are odd to you. It terms of the actual full history of the franchise a number of these make perfect sense when you angel the question from the scope of best in the GT series. It just make sense that the originals would beat out a great deal of real world circuits. Also, No way in hell that any of the special stage tracks could beat 5 to any best of list, purely from an angle of usage in the games as 5 is practically the only one that was a constant in the games. Lastly, I can't help but view Road America not making the list as a prime example of the endemic lack of races in GT7. I have not spent nearly enough time with the track in GT7 make it warrant anything but a passing thought.

Grand Valley is hands down the best original circuit of all GTs. Not the latest version though, I still like it but I think they ruined the flow of the original track, but I guess we cannot have all that we want. I am still waiting for Seattle to make a come back, that is by far one of my favorite tracks.

Grand Valley was my first guess for P1. Most iconic GT track, I can play LeMans/Nordschleife/Suzuka etc everywhere else. Grand Valley from 1-6 especially I can basically only play in GT. Edit: also shows that the GT community has a high average age I assume
