I'm actually the opposite. I grew up with rice, meaning I can eat a lot of it in one sitting without realizing (good rice in clear chicken soup is still something I will eat triple servings of rice with). Meat on the other hand will fill me up for longer than rice. With rice, my body will demand food like clockwork no matter how much I eat.

I went carnivore two years ago never felt better, I eat basically the same exact thing everyday. Nothing more freeing than knowing what your body needs and giving it exactly that. Breakfast: 3 raw pasture raised eggs, equal parts organic grass fed cream, raw unfiltered honey, topped with cold brew (optional) Dinner: 1lb ground beef cooked in beef tallow, 6 pasture raised eggs, raw cheese Whatever you decide to do, just never use any type of seed oils. I believe any diet can be vastly improved just by simply switching to butter/tallow instead. (Also be careful with your rice intake because all rice contains arsenic, not good)

Man I completely agree, knowing exactly what the body needs is liberating because then you can cut out all the excess and maintain without having to worry!!!

My two cents on the topic of autophagy - I had a cyst behind my ear since I was 5 but it was small and not problematic so never did anything about it. As an adult I went through a weightless phase and after losing about 20kg I noticed the cyst disappeared to nothing.

Dale, you are an inspiration! I've been doing 7000 - 10000 steps per day for a few years now. Following your previous video I'm trying to average 10000 per day. I do the occasional 20000+ day and I feel it.

Fatty meat holds me for the day. Starches trigger hunger in a couple hours. That’s for me. Glad you can make rice work. All weight loss is calorie restriction, so you have to bias your eating toward foods that make you feel fuller.

I’ve done intermittent fasting 16/8 but changed it to a sort of “raw to 4” diet by adding fruit during the “fast”. Fruit barely has any protein but keeps you going throughout the day. At the same time it gives your body a chance to eat up the junk protein and toxins in the body. Fruit is the easiest food to digest and if you’re walking throughout the day, it’s still like being in a calorie deficit but with added benefits of vitamins/minerals and not feeling hungry. I also drink black coffee so I never feel hungry until it’s time for the big meal in the afternoon which has a lot of protein. I think I’m on to something with this. Walking, weights and low-fat diet are the way to go. A little liquor here and there too.

That Botox thing sounds like BS to me. Surely the answer is somewhere in the middle. Being active but accepting and appreciating who we are in all stages of our life sounds much more viable on a societal level. I’m not bashing all plastic surgery but there’s a sickness in our society where people put an over emphasis on looking young and acting young but we actually need to grow up, appreciate, and emulate our elders.

Get fit first. You end up looking amazing as you lose weight, get muscle definition etc. the plastic surgery, Botox etc. maybe in extreme cases is worth it but the habit of getting fit and discipline of staying fit is literally life saving. Think of exercise as a pension payment towards your health in the latter, older stages of your life.

Walking is not the best fat burning exercise you can do. The best way to control body fat is through diet.
