Parents are the example that kids will follow. I'm thankful my parents when I was at a young age raise me up in the Lord, had me in church every Sunday, taught about life and being an asset to society. Today, parents don't care about their children. They let them do whatever they want to do, and we are living in a world where everyone is coming out of the closet. It's sad to see this generation like this, and we are thankful that you are speaking up on this because the truth has to get because change has to start with the parents.
I grew up with a mom who in my early childhood was somewhat strict and beat me for several reasons. She mentioned God to me a little bit and we even went to Church a few times but I felt more of a stranger to religion and God than a believer. Like on one hand she would yell at me and beat me for wrong doings/sins, but as I grew older she suddenly was ok with me doing sinful things and even encouraged me to drink, skip school a few times, try even porn stuff saying that all these things are now normal. She put me in a bad school just because it was small and had a small amount of students thinking it would be good but I ended up getting bullied like hell! She even said at one point when she got mad that she regretted that I was born again! I was even kicked out of the apartment just because I wasn't able to learn a subject because I was mentally not able to focus because of the bullying! She even spared my sibling from the punishments I received as a child. It's completely unfair! What does God have to say about a parent that is Hypocritical like this?
That is sad. I’m sorry your mom did this. It sounds like she is of the world like most. But that is very harsh. It is tough to focus when you have trauma. I hope you can find a Christian counselor. Hopefully she repents and you can forgive her. 🙏🏼
May Jesus restore you and heal you from all the abuse, pain, and trauma you suffered. Christian counseling is encouraged through the right person who is hopefully led by the Holy Spirit and can walk you through your path of recovery ❤️🩹 and healing ❤️🩹 as Jesus restores you and heals your broken heart!! He wants to and He will!! He absolutely Loves you so much just the way you are, but He will also transform you and heal you through His Holy Spirit and His Love!! Draw close to Him- the real Jesus!! I’m sorry someone misrepresented Jesus to you, but God will heal that too!!
Kids are also highly impressionable, whether it be by friends, family, teachers, influencers, or celebrities; you name it, they’re looking for a way to fit in. That’s why they’re so vulnerable. And yes, sin does play the ultimate role in pulling us apart from God.
I am with you on all of this. So difficult since being unequally yoked and husband divorced because he thought I was too religious and children learning more from other parent. It breaks my heart that if dad is not in the Lord, there is a smaller percentage of them learning those ways too. Please pray for all unequally families. It hasn’t been easy at all. Children become more disrespectful and gain wounds when going through divorce or seeing abuse in the home. Pray Christ heals all of the children coming from broken homes and being rebellious. They need so much love, guidance and direction. I have noticed their hearts don’t want lecture but more listening. ❤️
I love when I see kids playing out side of my house and when I do see them playing I go right I; to prayer mode to ask the lord Jesus Christ to protect them
You are right on point. Sexualization of children is the enemy’s number one goal to get authority (legal access) over them. 2 Corinthians 4:4 For the god of this world has blinded the mind of the unbelieving to prevent them from seeing the light of the glory of God ❤🙏🔥
This is a powerful word Jackie. I can tell you are gonna be a great mom. Even tho I'm not a parent; I try to be a positive example if I'm around kids. Funny story, I grew up in the 90s and I didn't have my first cell phone til my late teens in middle school. I didn't use it to call friends. It was so I can have a way to get in touch with my parents or grandma 😄 I didn't really care for all the other phone and social media stuff. I was always outside playing or inside working on something. My parents didn't play around with me. But they treated me good.
I just want to say Congratulations Jackie! You and Lance will be wonderful God fearing parents and I pray for your children will be blessed and covered in the blood of Jesus! Amen.
You're so right sister Jackie this new generation is out of control. I'm seeing some stuff almost every day that are shocking me just yesterday I saw a little girl that is between 8 or 9 wearing a tight leather skirt and a very short leather top and black boots with makeup on. A lot of parents are becoming so lazy once their kids starts crying or yell they immediately hand them the phone or a tablet to silence them. I see my cousin's kids browse freely on internet and they're watching stuff that they're not supposed to watch and whenever I tell my cousin to not let your kids watch for example tiktok they get mad at me. Here where I live I see good teenagers go to school just to comeback as drug addicts they're getting brain washed at the schools and the government is allowing it.

Very well said Jackie! God is using you to speak to the parents of this generation that is not God focused. What you said is so true, it’s the parents who are buying the crop tops, the bikinis, for their young girls because they want it and it’s the “trend.” Parents are buying their kids phones at such a young age now. We are to be “in the world” but not “of the world.” We are called to be set apart.

Wow! Divine timing. My son is 23 and I know he thinks I’m being a nagging mom but I will call out sin repeatedly. I pray that the faith foundation from childhood will be enough to bring him to the word.

Love it! My ex put a dress on her 3 year old son. I will never understand it! If I wanted a daughter, then I would have had one/adopted one. My future son will not wear women's clothing or my daughter wearing boys clothing and it's absolutely sick and disgusting.
We need to deserve love and kindness but some people today doesnt even show it many new technology to this day are deceive people and thats a big problem because some want talk they just care about their gaming consoles and phones and its really sad how are generation turned away from god if we just can love one another and be kind and respectfull we will have piece and children today is undisciplined

Maybe if our parents weren't incompetent, we probably wouldn't be "rebellious" towards them. Maybe if the current world we are being raised into wasn't absolutely awful due to inflation and rising international tension, we wouldn't be "rebellious". Yet here we are. Not blaming you, just saying there are fairly good reasons for people especially my age (I'm 15) to be upset.
