Buckin. You've helped me. I was cutting firewood today, and a scraggly dying oak needed to come down. It was leaning hard towards a bush, but because of your teachings, i was able to lay it in the wide open. It went perfectly. THANK YOU!

Well said buckin. I am a weekend firewood guy and this last winter i got a referral from one of my regulars, and i told the guy that i didn't have anything ready to burn. He told me thank you, and on his way, he went. Few days go by and i get a call and he wasn't happy. The guy he found sold him wood that wasn't seasoned. So he told me that he likes what he sees at his neighbors house, and i am now his firewood guy all because i asked a few questions and turned him down and was honest..

Hey buckn I must say that ever since I have been flowing you it's been almost 2 years. you and your story's and the skills you show is extraordinary. I have 100% changed my life in a way that I can't explain. Like one video I seen you wer talking about some things in your pasted and it grabbed me in a way that only a person in that kinda situation can really understand the power of addiction. Excellent comment...yes this dude Mr Buckin has provided a truckload of content of real life work and real life experience...✅ Has shown me smarter ways to get things done with common sense and diligence of craft work. From rebuilding old drums to rebuilding a wood burning stove. Standing up to buck and getting the gullet are lyrics to his life. Has helped many of us improve our lives in big and small ways. 💜

@@SimmingtonSeasonal I often do that exact thing with my Echo CS501P when I’ve got my 16” bar on it, because that’s when I’m using the bar for a gauge. The problem is that I REALLY like to run my 20” on it with 3/8 chain instead of the .325 that it came with. BTW, it pulls MY combo just fine and I’m constantly bucking up fully bar buried in wood with it AND noodling with it to boot 😊 If it gets much worse then I’m pulling out my 372. THAT will do it with my 30” bar effectively but it won’t quite pull my 32” to my satisfaction, and I’ve got it HEAVILY (for me) muffler modded.

Long time fan and watcher buckin from Pennsylvania ✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾 think of the fps as how many pictures are taken to create the “video”. More fps more pictures… from my gathering lower fps allows more production and editing on the backend especially for slowmo action shots… but your shot is clear 🤌🏾🤌🏾🔥 last video had a purple/pink hue but was still crystal Clear and vivid … you’ve taught me a lot about two strokes in general and power saws, I’m no betting man but something tells me you’d be one hell of a wrencher for a good 250 or 500 smoker dirtbike, in the sense of jetting and even pipe r&d like you do with the saws 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾🤝🏾🤝🏾🙏🏽

Buckin, I try to leave a small(ish) branch on the high side when bucking on the ground, and not going all the way through the log. Gives you a good handle to roll the log over to finish up bucking. Then it’s easy to knock the little branch off after. Trying to help a brother that’s helped me a bunch with filing! Also - do you have a good source for files for square ground? Bloody Hell - this saw is cutting like maniac. whish i could get my chains as sharp. My struggle is that the teeths are moving to much on the bar - hard to get a consistancy. I havent spent and thought about the size of the file - i just keep going on which i have started at. Maybe i should investigate more on that. BTW... its not about the speed its cutting for me - its about the pleasure having a perfect working tool and using it.

Hello Brother Buckin'...yes, I do a lot of slash burning in dense woodland, this is good practice you have here. So the 5/32" Husky Chain, is that standard on this saw? I have a Jonsered 2252 Ultacor (52cc) Auto tune, it screams and cuts crazy for its size. it has run well for a long time but now it dies when I set it down, I was going to take it to the dealership for a tune, do I need to? I do have a Jonsered 2055 Turbo (55cc)...this revs to 14,500, it is about 20 years old and cuts very well and it is not autotune. Peace, Health and Prosperity to you and yours, Woodsman Spirit

Wouldnt that saw work better with skip? Generally when you have too much bar for a power head skip is the way to go, you could sharpen it like normal and it wouldnt over load the saw then. I cut a bunch of small wood, we make the odd cut all the way through than roll the short sections of log onto other firewood getting it off the ground.

Would you mind testing it for all of us who are not as proficient in filing as you are?
