Your E-bike Experts | Himiway Speed, Pedal Assist, Detailed Display Settings 

For anyone who is curious, that first menu you get into that says v o l, setting those settings changes with each bar does on your battery meter. So the first bar would be low battery and you can set the voltage that it puts the first bar on, then you can set the voltage for the second bar, and so on. Example: 1 bar = 40v 2 bar = 42v 3 bar = 44v 4 bar = 46v 5 bar = 48v You can adjust the settings to calibrate the battery indicator to the actual voltage of the battery.

On your walking mode demo, you were on Pedal Assist 1, for Walking you need to be on PA 0. That should give you about 2.0 to about 2.5 mph. Jack.

you have a cloud 9 seat on your new 2021 himiway cruiser, I bought a cloud 9 seat and getting it to match up with the hardware on my bike is not quite right . What do I need to do to make it fit? just muscle it on?

You keep calling it "Hemiway" ... like a Dodge, lol! Nonetheless, thanks for a very informative video, going to head out to the garage and make some adjustments. Always thought 2 was too low and 3 was too high, look forward to remedying that. Can you post a link to the 2020 model video you mention? I couldn't find it.

Could you please make a detailed video on taking if the back tire on the Himiway Escape please? Or better yet, how to change the intertube on the back tire of the Escape. That's what I gotta do, customer service says to take it to a shop but no shop in my town wants to work on my bike. Bike shops say the bike is to heavy to out on the repair stand, and tire shops don't want to mess with it. Maybe if I lived in a ebike friendly town it would be easier but I live in Twin Falls Idaho.

Just got my Step Thru and my throttle goes only up to7km/h. Can i adjust it or is it damaged?

I wonder if changing the stock 46T to I think a 52T crank will get a little more speed?

Great video. However, I have a problem I can't pin down. This motor quits while in use, and I can get it to reset by shutting it off and repowering. I've sent a message to Himiway but no solutions. 2021 model

That is 45 km per hour… not miles per hour. 45kph = 27.97mph

good evening, I have a himiway zebra, and the trottle can only support up to 6 kmh, can you tell me how to change the settings so that the bike can also drive maximum speed with only throttle, thank you Jan Willem

Is there a setting to show time on the display?

I've read that the walk mode speed is 4mph. I don't walk that fast. Is there a way to lower the speed in walk mode?

FYI the 45 in max SPD......... That's 45 km per hour.

I was scrolling around all these settings and I came to a page showing the battery indicater. Each level of 5 I have set allows You to change the battery.charge level. What the heck was that page for ?? It's not even the manual.

Didn't find what I was looking for! Those of us in Canada or Europe that watch these video's need to find out how to change from 'Miles' to 'Kilometres'....wasn't mentioned here! Any idea how to do that please?

WHAT THE HECK! My 2021 will NOT go over 40 on the LS (limit speed) setting! This is super disappointing as I bought the bike for its “top speed” I received the bike 7-6-2021…. Any ideas anyone? Please.

Please tell us what is going on with your new disapproved controller. We don't want this bike lunging forward to 12 MPH on PAS 1. We don't want to be stuck with 24.8 max MPH. Is there anybody that knows how to get around this "New" controller like the old on? I didn't order the "updated" version. But I got it, even though the instructions clearly dictated the old style. I've reached out for help. Every time it's somebody different. Himiway, WE are asking for help... if SERVICE really exists, step up to plate and help!? @HimiwayBikesLongrangeEbikes

I ordered the cruiser a week ago only to find that now my model has been detuned from the previous ones! I may try to back out of the sale

Had so much trouble with Himiway. They tried to replace my faulty motor 3 times instead of letting me ship the bike back for a replacement. Took 6 months and I had to take it to a mechanic to replace. Then, still didn’t work and they wanted me to buy another one and return the old one before they would send me a new one. I think they’re customer service is in China? Just get something local because Himiway doesn’t know how to fix their problems.

Changing the LS to 45 and not 99 makes a big difference. Mine slows me down if I reach 25 & 28mph, almost like it's brakes. I feel it's very deceptive to change it after a bunch of ppl bought them with the idea they could change to it to 99. When it was 99 you could go 35MPH. One is not always on a bike trail, If you are on your own property you can go as you wish. It makes the Himiway a Rad Rover... not a Himiway. I'll make a video this week to show what it does.

Just got this same bike today. The "Limit Speed (LS)" is now only maxed at 40. I was disappointed. And do not use the walk mode. Is WAY TOO FAST for walking. It will get away from you.

Yeah but we got to find a way to hack the controller to get the top speed that the majority of us want out of the Himiway😡

Himiway now changed this and on the new models, the motor is governed to 25 MPH, and if you have an old model, you can tell a big difference in speed, especially down hills. The old model is way faster. Lame. You have to get a new display to change this. Lame Himiway.
