@@medginemichel6420 wait a second lol Jack went back up a Third time 🤣🤣🤣to grab the hen 🐔,Cindy claimed he was greedy but in fact he was needy to feed his mom too(so technically it was his fault that second the giant)came from the bean stalk..
Amy K Some of Sondheim's songs, including this one, are hard to sing because of their complexity. I was just saying it was impressive for these two kids to be singing so well.
But her it's the witches fault that the curse got placed, she made a curse on her mother to obtain her beauty and the witch wouldn't have put a curse on the bakers dads house and she wouldn't have showed up. So it's her fault!
grace tankard It's mostly the father's fault, he could have bought some of the greens. They never tell if the Baker's father and mother were poor (as far as I remember). Or they could've made a trade? (No babies ofcourse, bread for greens?)
+Devo Fauzan Rahman Of course what really matters is the blame, somebody to blame. Fine, if that's the thing you enjoy, placing the blame, if that's the aim, give me the blame...
+Devo Fauzan Rahman It's the child's fault for making her crave them then or was it the fathers for helping her sire them or who wanted children in the first place? (Second place?)
I love how well this song fits together. Every time there's the slightest pause I expect there to be a lull, but then the next character comes in with a perfectly timed comeback!
Listening to this on 1.25 is very close to the original tempo! So, for fans of the original show - set it to 1.25, and prepare to smile. Everyone sounds like they're singing on tempo except for Jack haha.
Actually it's all of our faults The bakers father for stealing the beans The bakers mother for wanting greens The baker and his wife wanting a child Jack for stealing Cinderella for going to the ball Little red riding hood for blaming everyone And is for listening to the song
No, of course what really matters is the blame Someone you can blame Fine, if that's the thing you enjoy Placing the blame If that's the aim Give me the blame Just give me the boy
These are all wrong lmao. She wanted greens so a giant came down? She went to a ball so a giant came down? That doesn't make sense. It's the father and Jack's fault.
Not really the melodic line follows the chord progression. and as for the lyrics with a bit of experience in live performance you can easily learn what is essentially 1:30 minutes at most of singing despite speed. the rambling nature of the song however means that you would need excellent breath control, to stay consistent. and yeah that about sums up there are no difficult high notes or strange time signatures to keep to.
The witch wanted to get blamed for losing the beans so she could get back ugliness and magic powers, not to make them shut up. Their annoying song was just an opportunity/excuse she could use.
They'll probably kill you because you have killed 2 people. Jack's mom and the bakers wife. Oh and making the two step sisters blind and killing the bakers mom out of shame. You will probably be burned and your leftovers will be fed to the pigs. Also have a nice day in hell 😊👋
I really kind of just want to walk up to someone and just go IT'S YOUR FAULT! and start singing this song, watch them either start singing with me or, more then likely, hit me, or just be like "okay, psycho, I'm walk away now," but I still want to do it!
Wait a minute! magic beans for a cow so old that you had to tell a lie to sell It, which you told! Were they worthless beans? Were they oversold? Oh, and tell us who persuaded you to steal that gold.
The blame can be placed on pretty much anyone. Me and my friends are in this and we have long discussions over it. Baker: Wanted the child, gave Jack the beans, undid the curse Wife: Wanted child, gave bean to Cinderella to get her shoe, undid curse Cinderella: Threw last bean, gave them the slipper Jack: Sold cow, stole from and killed giant. Red: Dared him to get harp Witch: Placed curse Witch's mom: Placed curse on beans, had witch in first place Mysterious Man: Stole the beans and greens Jacks mom: made him sell cow, gave birth to Jack in first place
2 years late but the whole idea is that due to effects of things such as the butterfly affect, blame can be traced to everyone. Or you can just be rational and understand that since everyone had an unintentional ignorant role it's no one's fault. They were supposed to move on and stop being petty and fix the issue
I think we can all agree that it's the Bakers MOM'S fault,if she hadn't made her husband steal from the Witch's Garden for her cravings the curse never would have been placed in the first place!
But she placed the curse because the baker was STEALING from her garden. Wouldn't you be pretty pissed if somebody stole something precious from you? I think it's the baker's mom's fault too. Selfish little girl turned her husband into a thief. Who does that?
But, thinking she didn't ask him to STEAL! It's not her fault that beans had to her appeal! And it was his idea to steal the beans in the FIRST PLACE! Wait, then isn't it the Witch's Mother's fault? For making those beans look so green? But then the Baker's father didn't have to steal beans, so it's HIS fault then! After all, he was only asked for *GREENS!*
But it isn't my fault, I was given those guns. He persuaded me to trade away my drugs for guns, and without those guns there'd have been no crime to get me into juvie in the first place! Wait a minute, perfect guns for some drugs so old that you had to tell a lie to sell them which you told. Where they worthless guns, were they oversold? Oh and tell us who persuaded you to rob that gold,
See it's it's your fault! No! See it's your fault! No! Yes it is! It's not! It's true! Wait a minute, though I only stole the gold, to get my guns back, from you! So it's your fault! Yes! No it isn't, I'd have kept those guns but our house was bankrupt she made us get drugs to get the bankruptcy protection!
AllyLuvsU! ! oh, then it its his fault! So, it was his fault...no. yes it is its his, i guess Wait a minute, though i emptied the gun right? Thats clear. But without any ammo, then whats queer is how the crime happened here. In the first place? Second place? Yes How? Hmm Well, who had the other gun?
The other gun-? The other gun? You pocketed the other gun! No i didn't, yes I did. So its your fault! No it isn't, cause I gave it to my wife- So its her fault! No it isn't! Then whose is it? Wait a minute-
BAKER (To Jack) It's because of you there's a Giant in our midst and my Wife is dead! JACK But it isn't my fault, I was given those beans! You persuaded me to trade away My cow for beans! And without those beans There'd have been no stalk To get up to the Giants In the first place! BAKER Wait a minute, magic beans For a cow so old That you had to tell A lie to sell It, which you told! Were they worthless beans? Were they oversold? Oh, and tell us who Persuaded you To steal that gold. LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD (To Jack) See, it's your fault. JACK No! BAKER So it's you fault... JACK No! LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD Yes, it is! JACK It's not! BAKER It's true. JACK Wait a minute- But I only stole the gold To get my Cow back from you! LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD (To Baker) So it's your fault! JACK Yes! BAKER No, it isn't! I'd have kept those beans, But our house was cursed. She made us get the cow to get The curse reversed! WITCH It's you father's fault That the curse got placed And the place got cursed In the first place! LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD Oh. Then it's his fault! WITCH So. CINDERELLA It was his fault... JACK No. BAKER Yes, it is, It's his. CINDERELLA I guess... JACK Wait a minute, though- I chopped down the beanstalk- Right? That's clear. But without any beanstalk, Then what's queer Is how did the second Giant get down here In the first place? Second place... CINDERELLA Yes! LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD How? BAKER Hmmm... JACK Well, Who had the other bean? BAKER The other bean? CINDERELLA The other bean? JACK (To Baker) You pocketed the other bean. BAKER I didn't! Yes I did. LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD So it's your-! BAKER No, it isn't, 'Cause I gave it to my Wife! LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD So it's her-! BAKER No, it isn't! CINDERELLA Then whose is it? BAKER (To Cinderella) Wait a minute! She exchanged that bean To ontain your shoe, So the one who knows what happened To that bean is you! CINDERELLA You mean that old bean- That your Wife-? Oh, dear- But I nvere knew, And so I threw- Well, don't look here! LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD So it's your fault! CINDERELLA But- JACK See, it's her fault- CINDERELLA But- JACK And it isn't mine at all! BAKER (To Cinderella) But what? CINDERELLA (To Jack) Well, if you hadn't gone Back up again- JACK We were needy- CINDERELLA You were greedy! Did you need that hen? JACK But I got it for my Mother-! LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD So it's her fault then! CINDERELLA Yes? And what the harp In the third place? BAKER Ther harp- yes! JACK She went and dared me to! LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD I dared you to? JACK You dared me to! She said t hat I was scared- LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD Me? JACK To. She dared me! LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD No, I didn't! BAKER, CINDERELLA, JACK So it's your fault! LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD Wait a minute-! CINDERELLA If you hadn't dared him to- BAKER (To Jack) And you had left the harp alone, We wouldn't b ein trouble In the first place! LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD (To Cinderella) Well, if you hadn't thrown away the bean In the first place-! CINDERELLA Well, if she hadn't raised them in the first place-! LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD (To Cinderella) It was your fault! JACK (To Witch) Yes, if you hadn't raised them in the first place-! LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD & BAKER (To Witch) Right! It's you raised them in the first place-! CINDERELLA You raised the beans in the first place! JACK It's you fault! CINDERELLA, JACK, BAKER, LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD You're responsible! You're the one to blame! It's your fault!
I love how this is the first time you get to see Cinderella's angry/ selfish side when she points the blame to Jack. You can also see how red riding hood gets so defensive when she was the first to blame each of the others.
Can we just all agree it’s Jack’s fault? The giants were just minding they’re own business than a random human just decided to rob them and kill the woman’s husband.
But it isn't his fault he was given those beans the baker persuaded him to trade his cow for beans and without those beans there'd no been no stalk to get to the giant in the first place
This reminds me of that time I witnessed my parents arguing and my mom said some ridiculous crap and everyone started laughing because it made no sense
I love how Cinderella is just mainly quiet throughout the first few verses, and then when the Baker accuses her she stumbles to defend herself and then gets mad when Jack tries to pin it all on her. Literally me.
I've always taken a liking to quirky and different songs in movies - like Mother Gothel's "Mother Knows Best", "Friends On The Other Side" from Princess and the Frog.....and so this is DEFINITELY my favorite song in the entire movie, it's just so entertaining and amazing!!
Technically its all their fault Honestly I think the real person that is originally to blame is the Bakers father cause if he hadn't stolen the beans from the witch then Jack wouldnt have killed the giant and no one would have died and all this could have been avoided
But the only reason the Baker's father stole the beans was because his wife was pregnant and craving something because of the baby.... LOL do you see? Blaming never fixes anything, because you can keep going back and back and ultimately resolve nothing.
I love how Cinderella is clueless in the song until she gets involved and then is the first one to notice that the witch raised the beans so it was "her fault." She wluld be my dream role if i were to be in this musical.
Jack:no im not the imposter I was scanning in Medbay when I saw somebody pop out the vent then the meeting got called the Baker's wife had died it wasn't my fault at all
Love the way Jack says "And it isnt mine at all"... dont know why, but love it :'D love this song and the next one.. that whole part was my favourite of all the movie! PS: Maryl KILLED it in the other song
