When I was three or four, I was with my mother going door to door, and we came to one house where we could hear music playing, like someone had left off the arm on the automatic record player and so it just kept repeating over and over. Nobody answered the door and then my mother said we needed to go. Much later, (as in years) she said that the door was open a crack, and she looked in and there was a woman lying dead on the floor with a knife in her chest. Of course she didn't call the police. That would mean getting involved.
I was driving three older sisters in service one day and parked on a rather steep hill. My car did have issues with the emergency brake so I'm not sure what I was thinking. I turned around from accompanying the sister to her return visit (who wasn't home of course) to see my car rolling down the hill and into a telephone poll. I literally fell to my knees with my head in my hands. Everyone was okay but I felt so guilty given that one of the sisters was over 80 years old.
I had a man who came to the door naked. Since I wasn't raised as a JW, I had a strong threshold for shock, so I just looked straight in his eyes, never looked down, gave my presentation, and left an Awake magazine. I denied him the shock factor which took away his pleasure of answering the door naked. Since the rest of the car group was afraid of dogs, I boldly went to houses that had beware of dog signs. When the householder tried to send dogs to attack me, I would pull out a ziplock bag of dog biscuits, and to the dismay of the owners, the dogs liked me, and I never got bit😂😂
I'd love a good ol chat with the past life guy these days. I remember being pretty scared at the time. Anything remotely off script like that was automatically demons in my jw mind. Not believing in them anymore is so freeing! Would love if you guys did a video on all things demons! I suspect everyone who's ever been in the borg has got at least one good demon story. I for one was absolutely terrified of them. And now I get to enjoy things like tarot! Every time I get my deck out I remember that picture in the publication of the scary looking woman reading tarot cards and think, 'Jw me would be appalled at how I turned out' 🤣
My pioneer partner and myself bought two new VW Transporters for the rural territory in northern Nevada. He had an extra fuel tank installed under the van because of the lack of gas stations. If he flipped the transfer pump too early, it would try and dump fuel into the extra tank which would overflow. While at a door, someone in the van flipped the switch not realizing what happened. When the pioneer came back and started the van, someone said they smelled smoke. Thirty seconds later the brand new van erupted in flames and burned to the ground.
Nikki and I got bogged after it rained really heavy, and the man at the last door we did , pulled us out with his tractor he was really friendly , we had to stop witnessing because we were all covered in clay like mud in out back Queensland Australia there are a lot of red dirt roads that get really slippery when it rains , he,s house was the 1st and last house we did 28 kms from the kingdom hall that Saturday morning , later we bought him a 6 pack of beer and all had a good laugh he was so nice and polite but very uninterested in the good news but very, very , very interested in the 6 pack of beer. My friend who is a former JW told me a guy came to the door naked and she ran away. She said later met the man in one of her college classes and her husband decided to invite him over.

I really enjoyed some of the craziness of the field service stories I was out in field service when I got to unbaptised publisher’ in New Zealand we were doing rural field service in the blue mountains where they filmed Pete’s Dragon and one house we went to we couldn’t get to the gate or we would have been torn to shreds by a vicious dog and he was at the gate guarding the house
5:15 Not service related, but I had a job in a house where pigs lived. Yup. The owners removed the dining room floor, put down dirt and hay, and installed giant doggy door-like things on the outside wall. Anytime anybody wanted to go to the kitchen, they had to go through the pig pen. 🐖 🐷
Not in Ukraine where everybody is at their front door, back door, left and right with the largest gathering of troops since WW2! How's 1975 working out for the ex JW community there I wonder. Perhaps they feel comforted digging up the old "Millions now living will never die" talk! If your Ray Franz was still alive, he can tell you what to expect next...the UN turning on religion! Yup, once peace and security is called for!
Almost all of my local congregation that I ever went in field service with. ( not me, though ) had been bitten, or had near misses of bites from dogs. As a matter of fact, water dowsing was also fairly common, too. 🙈🙉🙊
Bitten three times and the wife once while regular pioneering. They always waited until you were in the yard and closed the gate before releasing the hounds. On another occasion, a pure blooded Navajo Indian brother had a pit bull attack him on command. After being bitten the Indian brother chased the vicious dog down and strangled it to death. He was chewed up pretty bad. But guess what the elders did? They publicly reproved him for protecting himself. He left the organization and never returned.
I remember the time that another brother and myself were going door to door. We were about 14 years of age. This beautiful girl, approximately 30 years old, opened the door and invited the two of us in. Once inside we could only drool while she stripped in front of us. No Bible study was started, but we had plenty on our minds for weeks.
A sister related a story about her bible student...This woman had all kinds of mental issues but feeling sorry for her she continued the study. One day she received a call from the lady asking if the sister could please do her a huge favour, instead of having a study the following day, would this sister please take care of her handicapped child just for 1-2 hours while she ran a few errands? The sister agreed, she found the adult child with the door ajar at the entrance of the home, while taking care of this person they proceeded to have convolutions so the sister phoned the ambulance, when they arrived they were asking this woman her name, which was the name of the bible student, the sister was tricked into thinking she was helping her student our but it turned out it was a sick trick, for attention. Freaky!
A brother was walking beside a road with his sister in while out in service and a car driver steered through a puddle and drenched them. Jess grabbed a rock and threw it at the car and broke a taillight.
I was like 10 when this happened. So I remember liking other boys and men since age 4 or 5. I remember I always got butterflies in my stomach when I saw the really fit guys on men’s fitness magazines or men’s underwear packaging. Surprised my parents never caught on. One day we’re out in service, we go up to a door and knock. A guy comes out, wearing only his underwear total dad bod, muscular arms and chest, large beer belly, stubble. My mom covered my eyes with both hands and YANKED me away from the door (amazed she didn’t break my neck with his hard she pulled me off my feet by my head). The other lady calls him a pervert, a sicko, I think she even called him a homosexual too, and the guy just laughs and says “You knocked on MY DOOR.” We all scurry off and the 2 ladies say a quick prayer. Gotta say, I think that was the one time I was glad mom forced me to go out in service.

It was so funny with the dog and also quite interesting coz i have been told many times from witnesses that Jehovah God does not let anyone be named by his name 😀
Actually it can be dangerous u just go knockin on random ppls door and u never know if u encounter some psychopath or some one on substances can be really dangerous! It has just now hit me how utterly dum this "service" thing is!

During a kingdom news campaign in the early 90's. I was working on my own in Sydney, Australia when I went down out of sight of the group to a house on the waterfront. A man came to the outside gate. I offered him the kingdom news tract. He looked at me strangely and said.... "We kill people here!" Needless to say I didn't wait around, I got out of there as quickly as I could! I was fortunate that he was behind the gate! No telling what he might have done! Really freaked me out! I can't imagine how a sister would have fared??

The ability to cite "details" about an alleged past life is not evidence that the source of those details is a past life. A person can produce details of all sorts without us having to believe those details come from souls or magic. By your reasoning, a psychic who can provide details about the deceased is also correct when they claim the source of those details are their psychic powers.
