Hello to you both! Your smiles and demeanor are so positive and represent, to me at least, the character of the Irish…a charming and hospitable people! I’ve had the pleasure of visiting your fine land (I’m from canada) many years ago when I was still a jw, I stayed on a yacht (channel cutter) belonging two american jws moored off the village of Skibereen, at the southernmost tip of the island. We drove to Dublin for the convention there in 1975, if memory serves. And, no, the world didn’t come to an end, as we all know 😂! My wife is of Irish descent on her father’s side (Doran), we had often spoken of visiting Ireland together, alas it never happened… Great memories for me, at least…

Hi both, fantastic to have found you both on here. What can I say, I’m really pleased that you have managed to escape the cult and find real happiness along with real friends. You both look genuinely happy and that’s good to see. I too managed to remove myself from the cult, that’s a conversation for another time. I managed to get out in 2014 after 30 years of brainwashing and struggles. From the age of 17 I entered ‘full time service’ as a regular pioneer as that was the thing to do and my friends were all doing this. I went on to continue in this from 2001 up to 2011 and then entered Bethel in 2011 until 2014. I served in Bethel as an elder and in the Translation department of the British branch. I had got married in 2007 and this came to an end as she didn’t feel the same as me. I’d always had doubts, doubts that you’re told by your father, who’s an elder, are normal and “way of you proving your faith and proving the truth to yourself”. Yeah right, as mentioned, how can we do that if we’re only allowed to research the religion using the religions material. I must say that working in the translation department gave me plenty of opportunities to research and to prove the religion was a farce and is a farce. There were a few things that woke me, the whole 607 - 1914 misconception, child abuse issues, and ultimately one thing that lead to me deciding that I had to escape somehow, I was sent with another elder to investigate whether a sister that we believed had potentially been raped had actually been raped and if she had, did she scream out or lie there? If she lay there, she was potentially complicit and would then potentially require a judicial committee. That was it for me! Anyways, I had been to Ireland a couple of times and had exfamily towards the south of Ireland. Would love to connect with you guys if possible. I have since remarried and have 3 kids and absolutely smashing life. It’s so amazing away from the stresses and strains that is JWs.

The annual meeting was on October 1st, 2022. Nothing new to talk about at the meeting. In-person meetings and service are back. The community seems to be growing at a fast rate. I'm glad you are back

Hi I need help! My aunt is targeting my Gran. She is bringing her to JW meetings and I’m afraid she will make her sign away her house or even leave something to them in her will! Is there anything I can do to prevent my Aunt from influencing my Grans religious beliefs?!
Is there any watchtower literature ,old or new , that made you question the jehovah's witnesses religion? This is a question for everyone. I buy any books that can help me to witness to any jehovah's witnesses who has doubts about their own religion. Please let me know so I can add it to my collection. Thanks
First time see this channel. Another born/raised up in the man made JW religion? Are there still faith and believe you in the Almighty God to show? Am an ex Catholic and JW and look for courage people who show believe like Caleb and others.
I got baptized on march2014 but till 2020 they labeled me as a weak witness 🥹I stopped online service and just listened them on zoom with camera off but I made my decision to not attending to meetings after starting meeting in person.I realized you get excluded so easily no call no communication from even close fellow believers friends 😁
