I definitely agree with this video. I'm in sort of a new wave grunge band which I kind of like to call "Indie Grunge" and me and my guitarist are both perfectionists and often times when we write a song, he hears one thing in his head and I hear something completely different but in the end, we end up collaborating our ideas to create one kickass rock song!

Personally, i think the best way to start a band is to put yourself out there Be the best you can be and look for people to make what you have even better- and use what talents you have to improve their sound as well Talk to people, make friends, and simply be present at musical events and things of the such Also, i would suggest keeping an open mind as much as possible

Brianna Melvin yes this is 3 years later but..... I've been in a band for a couple of years and going solo now, people are just too unreliable and everyone has there own lives to live which makes it hard to sacrifice for the group... It is fun and an awesome feeling of community though. Hit up some producers or DJs who can make some music for you and just put your own lyrics over the top. If you want, I can contact some people I know? 😊

I should have known and been prepared i paid for 2 hours and got absolutely nothing done lol only thing was the engineer kept giving us history class about music and was like since its ur forst time this is a learning experience

I'm fucking nervous. I'm going to a major studio. I'm not even a good singer I'm just a recording artist. The studio time is paid for. I'm just an artist I'm not looking for fame. The music is for me to enjoy. If other people enjoy it then it cool. But I'm nervous and the track is already pre recorded.
