Is it common to feel satiated after consuming fibrous foods and incorporating fiber into my diet, only to experience hunger or a sense of emptiness in my stomach after 45 minutes to an hour? Or am I possibly approaching this incorrectly? Please answer

At home we create something we call 'podi' - basically grind chia seeds, flax seeds, pumpkin seeds etc. to a coarse powder and store it in a jar. We add this not while cooking but to the plate every meal - a heaped table spoon or two. We even add it to chappati dough, dosa batter or pizza dough We also sneak it to restaurants. The idea is to add fibre to every meal without significantly altering the taste.

Dont do that take this powder only thrice in a week your body is well balanced with minerals and vitamins anything in excess is dangerous.. In my session people mix all nuts in powered form with raw garlic but daily if u consume it can increase rbc count.. Suppose u eat beets spinach daily or in large quantity pottasium level will sky rocket and heart attack can happen.. So eat light eat colors drink water and dont stuff too much chemically infested food.. Dont fast eat morning eat lunch and light dinner at 6.ok

The importance of fiber in our diet, especially for gut health, cannot be overstated. It's fascinating how something indigestible to us can have such a profound impact on our well-being by nourishing our gut bacteria. Increasing vegetable and fruit intake is indeed a simple yet powerful way to promote long-term health. Thanks for this valuable information. And can I how I can get that 'Dosa' T-Shirt..! 😅

From the video, I learned that okra, also known as bindii or lady's finger, isn't just a slimy veggie-it's actually packed with health benefits. That slimy stuff inside is full of soluble fiber, which helps keep blood sugar levels steady and reduces the risk of diabetes. The video also broke down the different types of carbohydrates, from simple sugars to dietary fiber, and explained how they affect our health. It gave practical tips on how to incorporate more fiber into our diet, like loading up on legumes, leafy greens, and cooled rice. And the best part? Fiber isn't just good for digestion-it's a mood booster, weight manager, and gut health superhero. So, it's time to load up on fiber and give our bodies the love they deserve!

Very useful information explained well I would suggest that going through any standard text book on Ayurveda could be worthwhile as all diseases start in the gut and digestive power is of paramount importance in preventing any disease.In addition,Ayurveda considers the importance of seasons and regions in deciding what to eat where."Ine man's food is another man's poison".Homogeneity in foid is not recommended as a food that may ve assimilated in one region may not be digested in another. Traditionally we Tamils eat Pazhaya soru especially during the hot seasons and today it is accepted that it provides vitamin B12 to vegetarians.

Good info and most importantly the points you suggest are practical and doable for working class. I have one curious question on vendakka. Whenever we cook vendakka we add souring agent like tamarind or tomato or roast in oil until the sogginess is removed. Is this wrong? Are we loosing fiber by overcooking?
@krishashok

Nope you don’t lose fiber by cooking!

No. You still get the fiber. As for vitamins, ALL cooking reduces vitamins to some extent.

The benefits of probiotics are lost if you cook the food. Idli and dosa are not probiotics. They are post-biotics

Soaking rice and dal helps reduce phytates. Soaking nuts makes no difference to phytate levels (already posted video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Lai7-cOppUE.htmlsi=ulEa59FSeqC1EeLa)

I m so fan of your channel that words can't explain. I have a request if you can make a tube on basil seeds. Chia has been so vibrant but I can see basil seeds could be an equal and cheaper alternative except for the fact that basil seeds of a table spoon contains half as less as omega 3 than that in the same amount of chia. But at the same time omega 3 in content in a table spoon is sufficient for our daily need. So why rush for chia....?!?!

Can you tell what could be the reason why fiber does not suit many people? I know this question is out of context but can you tell?
@krishashok
@krishashok 6 месяцев назад
It’s not the insoluble fiber but soluble fiber and non-digestible complex carbs that can present problems. They are sometimes partially digestible and different people have differing abilities to digest them

Hi Bharti, a few suggestions. 1. I am not a doctor, and therefore I cannot and must not provide personal medical advice 2. Even if I was, I suggest that you not look for personal, specific medical advice for anyone with existing conditions on social media. A doctor's advice must always be deeply individual and only delivered after clinical diagnosis 3. Avoid looking for single ingredient superfoods to reverse existing health issues and focus on overall diet - eating fewer refined carbs, more resistant starch/fiber, more vegetables and more protein is broadly good general advice

In the carnivore world of eating doctors like Shaun Baker, Paul Mason and Anthony chaffee is saying exactly opposite of what u r saying fibers r deleterious to human health😢
@krishashok
@krishashok 6 месяцев назад
It's best to ignore those folks. Technically speaking, you can be healthy on a wide range of diets, but on a practical note, being a 100% carnivore is one of the mostly stupidly unsustinable fad diets out there. What you see on social are the tiny number of already genetically lucky folks who are less susceptible to heart disease and they also exercise like body builders on a daily basis

@krishashok my brother got gut removed n now carrying a bag n his knowledge about what is getting absorbed n what is not is paramount. He found out no fivers got absorbed forget about gut bacteria.... he is doing very fine he is 64 years old....now that i also follows carnivores without exercise...i found reversal of all metabolic syndromes.... i am 60years old..... please do ur reserch... about fiver n gut bacteria.... it is more important the 'hormonal response' to a particular food than increasing the bulk... or streching ur strech receptor of ur intestines .
