Have you plotted "reverse heliostats" of sorts ie pointable directional transmitters + tracked drone for longer distance power + more precision/less waste?
Cool tech demo . Seems like a waste to have the drone hover while charging. How about land first and and then charge? Oh, and you can G-E-T rid of the wireless changer :p
Technically you can land and charge inside the charger as well, but you CAN NOT rid out of wireless charger if you think about 10C (6 min for full battery) charge rate. There is no any practical solution which can handle that [current/voltage via connector] in real outdoor environment [rain, dust, snow, etc.] except wireless charging. That is why all solutions with direct plugin has very low power range. So yes, you can land and sit an hour on a landing pad for charging your battery. If it works for you - you are good to go. Great question though, thx!
Blades of the drone is more dangerous, if the one is standing inside charging zone during... other than that it is safe and below world health organization standards for everyday exposure to the magnetic and electric fields. In short, it is 100% safe.
@@GETcorp please confirm that it is safe for a person to stand inside the charging zone (when there is no drone and the system is charge pulsing) This is kinda counter to all other data on humans in a pulsing electric field.
