Chris, this video is the reason why people watch your videos. It’s like hanging out with your best buddy and just enjoying the time talking about the things that we would only enjoy. Nice job bringing the new folks up to speed. You got to love what you do or else it’s not worth doing it. 🎉

That was really a great video. Yes people think I am makeing money hand over fist and you are spot on with all the cost that goes into firewood I have sold just over 800 face cords or 267 full cords this year I had to buy all that wood from a logger plus fuel for my processor and tractor diesel has been 800 bucks to keep things running bar oil is 16 bucks a gallon this year last year 8.50 a gallon and taxes and many other expenses are in there just wait till you are running that M B 22 more hours the fuel bill for that . 15 years of doing firewood and just cant give it up retired after 44 years at my last job dont miss that but can't leave the firewood business. I am 64 and never would have thought you was 60 the way you work I gave you 50 but good for you that you are in good shape. stay safe and good cutting

I’m new to splitting my own and now realize how relaxing it is. It keeps me busy, helps with the waistline and keeps you young. Best of all I help keep family and my elder neighbor with wood to burn. I’m lucky to have two brother in laws that own tree services who supply me with mostly oak and pecan. Great show, thanks.

answered my question about the farm. been a busy summer haven't been on RU-vid much. sweet deal. for what it's worth you should consider buying a 1 ton next. similar price to a 3/4 ton(any brand is fine they are all good). diesel is expensive now but milage barely goes up whilst towing a bush cord. plus, it comes in handy for floating a tractor, skid steer or excavator should the need arise. having a 3500 opened up a lot of opportunities I didn't have before. ps you are too nice to echo haha.

A photographer since 1982 how different things were then. The days of film, darkrooms and enlargers. I was into black and white back then, taking, processing and printing them off then colour processing for home use became available.I didnt like the sound of it. I liked my B and W. Still do. Went from DSLR to mirrorless last year. Still miss the days of seeing an image appear on the paper.

Well, I am totally saturated, all questions answered, curiosity satisfied, world order settled and everything in its place. I think I can pass a test on the contents, present on the findings and accurately share the lessons. I also detect the slightest bit of apprehension associated with the second time you’ve mentioned that your wife mentioned the lack of wood making activity for next season, to date. I’m getting nervous too because I know that to stay ahead you have to plan ahead and your mental calendar says you are behind because of your past experience. May you have a butter smooth transition to making wood in the new yard and let that processor rip through some big honking triaxles of logs, but know that there will be new challenges that even sly old you haven’t anticipated that have to be overcome. Your fans are rooting for you from their comfortable armchairs, myself included. Reno

Chris, great question and answer video! A lot of useful information comes from your videos day in and day out which is why your channel is so successful! Keep up the hard work and dedication. Glad to hear the success stories with the new woodyard and also with the processor. When 1 door shut another opened. The new door is much better than the one that closed! Good Night Irene! Well for me it is Good Morning Irene 😀

I love the daily videos but life is important so if u do every other day then so be it. You have a life too love to and someday there won't be anymore updates because you retire!! That will be a sad day but you have a life.

Just think Chris years from now at your funeral or celebration of life your family will say , Do we have any pictures or video of Chris's life? Oh yeah here is 4000 videos from his everyday life. Sorry for that thought but when you go through it the memories will really help friends and family. Thanks for the great videos. I also say I love my work so it is not even work.

Hi Chris, excellent video! You answered all of the main questions that I would liked to have asked you! You do not need to improve your presentations; they are always ‘top notch.’ Yes, sometimes one gets the impression that you are under pressure (which is understandable) but this shapes the character of your channel! I watch a fair amount of RU-vid and you, and one other, are my ‘go to’ daily diet of watching! I also realise that it is very difficult to appease a bunch of mainly opinionated old men (and maybe some younger people too) but you make it ‘OUR’ channel! Well done Chris, hope you can keep it up for a few more years!! Hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas and an even better year in 2023! Cheers Len (Devon 🇬🇧)

My suggestion now is...from this day forward. If any viewer, new or old ask any question covered in this video(and many others if they watch them) in the comment section. Do NOT answer the question and simply leave a link to this video. If they want the info...You can atleast get a view from them watching instead of wasting another moment typing a repeated response!👍 Have a great weekend and will see you again at 5:30 tomorrow morning! One word of advice, stick with Toyota. Yes, they are pricey but HEY ! Reliability is what you want. From where I'm from in Canada (East Coast), a face cord is 8'x4'x16''. A bush cord is 8'x4'x4'.
