For those that are having a hard time finding the turkeys, you might have to do a dino wipe so they will spawn (or just run around with your rex or whatever killing every dodo and creature you see aha). Thank you Tiia for the info! It's odd they put it in the smithy on ASA since it was always in the cooking pot on ASE but I'm also glad for it, to not have to use up wood or whatever in order to make the items.
Awesome! I found an easy way to farm the turkeys: build a 3x3 foundation with walls on every side. Add ramps up one side. Add a large cellar door on top. Then lure them into the trap! I added a spike wall on each side to help with DPS. I also added ladders on each side to get out of I fall in. Lastly, I added walls on each side of the ramp so they didn't go off course before getting to the trap. I don't have super powerful dinos, so this method was best for me haha
Good guide. Despite playing ark for years, I don't know that I've played through the turkey event before. I was also wondering if disabling the mod would remove the content - glad it doesn't seem to.
Really useful video! Even though it's designed as a test event it pretty much has everything but the Dodorex. I discovered Theriz are useful to kill them so i'm off Turkey hunting!
Two reasons for that. 1) then you can activate it whenever you want including the mechanics. 2) It was planned earlier, but consoles delayed and they waited until everyone could participate.
Hey, I don't know it's anyone has noticed, but after the update, my rhynio flies reeeeally slow when it picks up dinos now, I don't know if it's just me, or if it's an issue with the update, have you had a similar issue?
Use a carno, thyla, or a group of allos. Bleed damage is definitely their weakness. Obviously a giga works too, but I am taking my time on official this go around.
