The fact that Proctors supervisors accepted and even 'liked' that kind of talk from Proctor tells me everything I need to know about the climate of that PD, and none of it is good. No ethics, zero integrity. I feel for the taxpayers being forced to prop up such rampant corruption.

The unknown is the effect of this obvious culture in the district upon jury members (fear of retribution). So I watch all these videos. And I had not heard of this case before yesterday. So I’ve been catching up a bit. I am confused cause there is multiple different court settings in other videos concerning this case. As well as current news that the jury can’t decide, and the judge told them try harder. So these videos, though brand new, are not actually up to date with the current situation. Would someone please direct me or tell me the current state of things? Every case this guy has ever been on should be overturned. The states case would have been tainted by his participation and with time passing it is unfair for defendants to be expected to build a defense so everyone goes free. The state should make sure they have honest police. I am not anti-police but I am anti-bad police....does that trigger anyone?

A lot of dads leave it to the mom. My husband traveled extensively while our children were little, and it totally fell into me to vet and hire babysitters. Clearly Julie was a friend , daughter of long term family friends. Not that I would want any of them as friends nor hire any of them to watch my children. OR dog!

We have to remember the letter that Josh Levy sent to Auntie Bev back before this trial began. Josh Levy stated that he reserves the right to pull this trial and try the case in Federal Court if he doesn’t like what kind of conduct is being brought forth. He firmly stated this in a formal letter from his DOJ OFFICE I truly believe if there is a mistrial than Josh Levy will pull this trial as he already stated he couldn’t allow this case to go to trial in good conscience with the evidence he has already gathered through the FBI and Federal Department of Justice. I can absolutely see this coming if there is a hung jury as Josh Levy already has ALL THE EVIDENCE THAT TOTALLY EXONERATES KAREN READ. This is not conjecture. This is FACT. As I watch this, I am reminded that we still have no verdict. How in the world are we here? This testimony alone is all a juror should ever need for reasonable doubt. The crazy thing is.....there is a boatload more of reasonable doubt. This is just a tiny little niblet, and yet again, I am reminded that we are still waiting for a verdict. HOW????
There has to be a plant in that jury. Nothing else makes sense. The entirety of humans who watched the trial are WELL aware that there was a cover up....at a bare MINIMUM....reasonable doubt. It's all so disgusting.

I asked that same question on yesterday's "Proctologist Proctor" (since he is clearly so interested in... Umm, what was the term he liked to use? Balloon knots? Proctologist Proctor NEEDS to become a Meme by the way LMFAO). I don't think at any point in this trial I have heard "Over ruled" in response to a prosecution objection. "I'll let him have it." Has COMPLETELY different meaning and inferences when heard by a Juror.
Shockingly, she did overrule a couple of Lally's objections, but ONLY during Proctor testimony, and before and after that I think she only used the word overruled when the defense made objections. Proctor makes my skin crawl. It is scary what he may be capable of... actually, I should say what he has shown he is capable of.

I hope your speculation is right. However, I suspect it will be a hung jury. There is no evidence which has not been tainted, and so much reasonable doubt, and yet we wait for KR to be found not guilty. KR helped JOK with children - he reached out to her - she is impressive in so many ways- and now she is being "tortured". The evidence clearly indicates the SUV never hit JOK. I would be rushing to acquit to end this punishment by (il)legal process, if I was on the jury. The displays of inhumanity by so many during this trial are deeply depressing.
How has the judge not thrown this out. Don't know how the law works but this is beyond obvious. The only question here is which witnesses and police officers need to be charged.

How worried do you think the prosecutor is that if the jury is hung, and they decide to retry Karen, they will have to contend with a lead detective possibly having been fired because of the FBI investigation?
