The good news for the prosecution is, after this testimony, I was ready to convict beyond a reasonable doubt. The bad news for the prosecution, it was for Jen McCabe.

This woman is a high school bully who never grew up.. all the wives were jealous of Karen because all the guys wanted her or thought she was hot.. petty and jealousy is a damn thing to these petty women

When she gets angry you can see it in her face and she looks like she can be very mean, entitled, a liar, and honestly I look at her and I literally can see a darkness/evilness in her.

Prosecutors have lost even before Defence has begun , seriously why was this case brought to trial . It’s embarrassing!

As a former competitive gymnast and dancer, she reminds me of a cheer mom still living out her high school years. All of the “McAlberts” give off that energy. The ever changing stories, butt dials, and rehomed phones are unbelievable. Literally. I’ve been watching the select committee meetings from Canton and they are trying their damndest to get “their people” on the police audit. It’s been highly contentious. I live about as far away from Canton as you can get in the contiguous 48 states, but I am fully invested in watching as this beautiful town fights to root out the corruption. It’s inspiring to see how passionate the locals are.

Alsoooo the way she answered when she slipped and she goes “I AM” so confidently and then she says “oh wait wait wait” like oh crap have to stick to the script! This case is insane!

Her evil exudes from inside to outside, it’s scary, or to use her words, horrifying

Her daughter slipped and said Colin wasn’t even there when John was there and then she started crying. I think she raised she screwed up.

After listening to Jen McCabe’s full testimony, I kept thinking about the Skyler Neese case and I finally figured out why… Skyler was a HS student who was murdered by her two ‘best’ friends. One of the two girls embedded herself in Skyler’s parent’s lives prior to her body being found. Handed out missing flyer’s, organized searches, and was over their house all the time, offering comfort and grieving with them. Skyler was their only child so of course they welcomed her ‘best’ friend in, and they comforted her too. They couldn’t believe it at first when the investigation led to her and then they were left feeling victimized twice. Was it guilt or was she trying to stay close so she had the details of the investigation? Either way, it further traumatized this lovely couple that had just lost their only child. It sounds like the McCabe’s have gotten a lot closer to the O’Keefe family since John’s passing- just like they have with Kerry Roberts. I completely understand the family believing the narrative of fellow cops and ‘friends’ and I can’t imagine how difficult this testimony and new evidence has been to process. It also precluded them from being able to grieve with the one person who clearly loved him as much as they did. You wouldn’t be that panicked and hysterical out of worry if you didn’t love them- and you most certainly would not return to the scene if you hit them intentionally. The prosecution’s case makes no sense to me. My heart goes out to the O’Keefe family, John deserved better and the disrespect is compounded by the fact that they are pinning it on the person he was planning a future with. Justice for John AND Karen!!

9:30 Jen has a very good memory. She distinctly remembers saying "Why don't you come with me?" and corrects the lawyer about "You are coming with me." Which then contrasts with the convenient amnesia during the inculpatory questions.

These people can’t recall much because they are drunk most of the time. And driving. And getting away with it.

What I find interesting is there are a bunch of people who parked in that spot. The other things that struck me was how many people "rehomed" their phones, the dog that was rehomed after JO's death, that everyone was drunk af and LE that were driving drunk, the ATF agent who claimed he was too drunk to go to work but went to work to move vehicles in the middle of the night, that no one saw KR drinking much or even knew what she was drinking, that the couple looked like they were happy and had a lot of PDA that night but yet the this woman said she didn't see KR and JO talking, that the ATF agent (I refuse to use his name) used FBI resources to extract certain information instead of just turning over his whole phone and destroyed his phone by going onto a military base which has higher security... I'm sure there's more but this is enough for me (if I was a juror) to give a verdict "not guilty". Something is off with this whole trial.

I hope they don't get away with this frame job! She's the mastermind and clean up person!!!

I’ve never been so offended watching this trial as I was seeing Jen Mcabb testimony. She had zero redeeming qualities whatsoever, couldn’t keep her lies straight by constantly asking to see her prior statements. The truth doesn’t need to be refreshed…it just flows like Carrie. Who needs enemies w/a friend like Jen Mcabb?!

What is still curious, odd, weird etc is this: The lack of curiosity is very telling. 1) J Mcbutt sees JO severely injured on the lawn of her sister's house, sister, BIL, NIL...none of them woke up, no lights etc and she's not worried, concerned that they might also be injured or harmed? Especially, that the door is always unlocked? Kerry was asking for blankets and J Mcbutt didn't go to her sister to get blankets or any kind of help? 2) Also, none of the LE, after seeing a severely injured officer on the lawn, didn't even think that someone in the house might be injured, since none of them came out, lights were out, none of the LE was concerned? 3) The person who gave the solo cups is also LE and even he was not curious about another officer being severely injured? He also have CCTV and didn't give it to LE to see if there was anything that might help? 4) I understand why the Asian family didn't come out. But all the other neighbors were LE and none of them were curious what was going on at another officer's house? 5) Exactly what have these LE been doing for the past 20-30 years. None of them seem to know how to process a crime scene, interview witnesses, preserve a crime scene or anything? It really boggles the mind.

She is most of the reason why it looks like they're covering up something.

There are NOT that many people involved who know the absolute truth. The others have been manipulated. There are inly a handful at the top. The jury needs to understand this.

Convenient she left out Collin Albert when recounting who was in the house.

I've always joked around saying that I have a black heart and soul because people have said that I'm brutally honest at times. However, I take that back and won't say that again especially after seeing this heartless individual. She calls Officer John O'keefe her friend when in front of his family and questioned by Karens attorneys but when she called 911 she said, "A guy is unconscious on the lawn." Jen never said my friend a LEO is unconscious on my sisters lawn. Why? Because she was trying to distant herself from him and the situation because they were all there that night. Despicable human beings.

…This cross examination was EPIC!.. I think she celebrated afterwards with the other McAlberts, because she really thought she successfully beat the defense attorney. When all of this is over, it will be interesting to see if any of the jurors choose to share their impressions of this proceeding, and of the cast of characters in this trial.

Why did the Alberts gets rid of the family dog? Why did they rip up the basement floor & then immediately put the house up for sale? Come on….this case shouldn’t have gone this far. The judge is too cozy with the cops trying to frame Karen-She proves it everytime she sides with the prosecution & admonishes the defense. Ridiculous! He was murdered & the cop family is covering it up.

You missed a very interesting and important detail from her direct. At one point she is describing the morning after, just got the news from Karen that John was missing, she said ”I remembered that Chris Albert had still been at the bar (when she left), so I thought maybe John had walked home with Chris, because Chris lives near the waterfall”. Yet she claims that she saw Karen and John in the car outside of 34 Fairview. Why would her first thought be that John could have walked from The waterfall directly home to Chris Albert if she actually saw him in the car outside the house after they left The waterfall? I am not sure what I think happened to John, but she and many others are with 100% certainty lying on the stand.

Jen McCabe said when she pulled up at johns house,Karen got out saying “look I broke my light” and Jen said pieces were missing … the video shows they got out of the car and went straight in the house,Jen was never near the light and there was no conversation

I think Jennifer McCabe & Brian Albert, Sr. are the two ring leaders with JM being the public face. It seems that there is enough reasonable doubt already to acquit KR. Can the jury do an initial poll when time for deliberations and be out of there in 10 minutes.

The sad thing is Karen will be found not guilty and these people will never be charged with his death. They will be protected and John’s death will just be forgotten

I have been watching this trial and its okay to understand where its going, but the DUI Guy has made this trial a Prime Time TV Show. I just hope the jury sees right through the prosecution, aquits her and turns the tide around for who maybe responsible into his Death.

See, innocent people don't have to think about details. When AJ asked her if she knew Matt put the jeep in the same place, she could've very easily said, 'Sure, we both saw it, talked about it the next day....' That's believable. Her overreaction to such a simple, explainable question looked awful. Because she's NOT innocent.

There's no doubt in my mind that she burst into that bedroom while Karen was screaming outside and said "She thinks she hit him!" That was when the narrative shifted to "Nobody saw him" in order to make Karen look guilty. No doubt.

She behaves and speaks as a person withholding info. The woman no one wants to be friends with. Mean girl.

Hi from the UK, so pleased you mentioned Jen's demeanour. I picked up immediately that she is a person you don't want to upset. Absolutely nothing about her shows empathy, instead all I see is arrogance, entitlement and sheer detrrmination to do or say anything to get Karen Reid locked up. Lets face it, her husband doesn't appear as being the sharpest tool in the tool box, can definantely tell he with others will do exactky what they are told by Jen.

When I look at her I see a person who's karma inflicts horrible things onto her children or grandchildren. I can imagine one of them being wrongfully accused of murder in the future and Mama McCabe crying out "why is this happening to us?" She needs to come clean and repent.

From the beginning comment of this video I said ,yes!!! I am not crazy,i see things sometimes and I was watching her first day in the courtroom,and her face turned demonic,she no doubt has a demon living inside of her,it was quite shocking and unsettling.

Watched a hundred interrogation's and she shows all the hallmark's of a guilty liar.

There is alot of energy and things to discuss in this case. For me it all boils down to these factors: 1. Her tail light was intact at 5 am. ( I DID comparison w same model of car at night showing details of THAT tail light and how her tail light was CLEARLY fully intact at 5 am video hours after he was dropped off) 2. 530 video state showed her leaving w Jen and did NOT leave any footprints at her tail light. 3. 630 video shows fresh footprints at her tail light after more snow fell since the 530 video amount. THESE prints at her tail light also have prints down the driveway. KR had left w Jen and did not return went to hospital from there so could NOT have made the prints that were made between 530 and 630 am. 4. 830 video of cops who made a fake ruse to go to Johns house to pretend to check on kids that of course the families already dealt with and no one asked them or gave concern kids were there at the now empty house. THE dash cam of the cops video NOW SHOWS her tail light missing. So they can say it was in fact broken before they hauled it in. THE person who made the footprints after KR left w Jen and before Camerano picked up Kaylee at 630am ish, is the one who broke her tail light and collected the pieces to plant at the scene. 5. The health fit app that shows John arrived, got out of the car, walked over 80 feet consistent w distance from curb to door, went up and down stairs and more... 7. Google search that has unique identifier codes for each search time. HOS long to die in snow. WHY WOULD she type how long to die instead of how to help someone w hypothermia. YUP that's it for me. She did not do it. DONT care if she was so drunk she could not walk...evidence is what matters.

This trial is the first one that I’ve tuned into since the OJ days. I know…strange, right? I happened to be recovering from an injury the day that the trial started and it showed up on my RU-vid page. I live in Indiana - strange how the algorithm works. Anyway I love your analysis - I’ve been going down some rabbit holes on body language, phrasing, etc from those who testify and wow! Jen McCabe’s testimony is a treasure trove of non-truths. Any psychologist is surely having a field day watching her testimony. I greatly appreciate your analysis and it’s stuff like this that I hope law students are exposed to in their formal 3 year education.
