Should be same foot same shoulder that’s how you keep from arm tackling. Same foot same shoulder gives you more power

So how do we dislodge the ball?

The goal should be the tackle but if you place that shoulder correctly, With enough force the ball will dislodge instantly. Replacing your head with your shoulder

That's correct! For a lot of coaches this feels really strange. Almost like we're encouraging arm tackling. But it's a sound, and more importantly safer, way to teach that we see more and more people going with at all levels of the game.

Takes the head out of a lot of tackles, hit solid with shoulder not just arms. Much safer for the head and neck of the tackler

It is the new way to teach it, which is why when you see a defender on any level, even on tv, making a goal line tackle to the outside, the running back always falls forward and wins

It may at first glance look like arm tackling (most of the coaches who went through this clinic responded that way), but if you think about it, it's really not. Just another step aimed at keeping the head out of the tackle.
