I think if other professors can’t or don’t want to teach. They should just use your videos. You really know how to teach and your contents has extremely high quality. It’s a shame that professors who teach at universities across North America does not have a “standard” train program(if they fail the program they should not be allowed to give lectures) to prove that they are actually able to “teach”. Your style of teaching not only let students understand the concepts but also save lots of time for students. Maybe you should come up some tutorials for other professors to learn how to teach!
You are very sweet. Unfortunately, most Universities follow the Publish or Perish mind-frame, and they aren’t talking about RU-vid videos! I am fortunate to work for an open-minded university that values students.
Your discrete math playlist is the only way I am able to keep up with my class. You are a godsend for us students. Thank you for your knowledge and sharing your incredible talent of educating.
I am in my second semster of sophomore year as a Engineering student, and our discrete math class has been one of the most unorganized classes I have taken throughout this journey. You have helped me and my friends SO much and I would like to thank you for all of the content you have made in DM I and II. Without your videos, it would have been so much harder to understand the concepts in the course. Thank you!
Hello Professor! I discovered your channel almost three years ago. I want to thank you so much for the discrete maths playlist you have for rosen's book. I am currently in my third year in a software development program. In my first semester, I felt intimidated by discrete mathematics, that is until I watched your entire playlist. Your explanations are incredible, you deliver complex information and concepts in a simple way! I actually got an A+ in my discrete mathematics course thanks to your help. Thank you for helping us out!
I just wanted to thank you for how well you taught discrete mathematics. I would not have succeeded in my course without your videos. Thank you so much for your hard work!
you're a freakin legend is what you are! I have used your videos for pretty much every single math class in my undergrad. an infinite thank you for your videos!
I literally passed my discrete math class with an A and a huge part of the reason were because of your videos on it! You're literally the best teacher ever. Thank you so much, I don't know how to thank you enough!!!!
Thank you, Professor Kimberly. You have a special gift for teaching mathematics. I am already subscribed and have started studying your Applied Statistics playlist. Do you have a book to recommend? It would be great if it is the book you followed for this playlist. Thanks again
I am from Pakistan and currently studying information technology (IT) and was having problem in "Discrete Structures" Subject. Now I have started watching the course You created, I believe it will help me in the near future as I go through the outline as it is doing right now. thanks a lot professor!😉
Hey, Dr. Brehm, I just want to say THANK YOU for all of your consistent effort! You are truly an angel that lifts people's burdens in Mathematics. I hope nothing but happiness for you and your family. God bless.
Hello, Professor Brehm! It's very nice to meet you! I have watched your videos on different math topics for quite a while and I consider your pedagogy clear, well designed and exceptionally helpful. Your formal logic and combinatorics videos are my videos of choice on these topics at any given time (and I have seen many) Thank you very much for your work and all the best to you and your family!
I have subscribed and loving your channel. It is the best Discrete Math tutorial on RU-vid. After I finish Discrete Math, I plan on watching Calc and maybe Linear Algebra. I am starting MS in Computer Science this fall and want to make sure I am ready. You have such a great voice for teaching. Good luck with the channel and wishing much success to your 4 year old twins!!!
I was searching for a channel to upskill myself on math & I found your content. It's detailed & presented well enough for a person to understand from scratch. Sawyer & Finn a fellow Mark Twain fan I see. Best wishes to u & ur family. Have a nice day prof 😇
Excellent Videos on every subject Professor !! You're soooo Methodical, Clear, & Structured. I've been accepted into an online Math Major Program after many years out of College for a 2nd BS Degree at 67 years old. I need that Professor that's methodical & clear. 😃😃 You're that Professor !1 Thanks !! This would be my wish list.... Calculus III, Proofs, Differential Equations, Statistics & Probability, Real Analysis, Topology, Mathematical Modeling/Applied Math, Graph Theory...
Hi Professor! Your linear algebra series is really helpful. If you have a chance, could you also make a full series about differential equations? That would be even more helpful! 😊😊
Thank you so much for your videos, Professor Brehm! I recently graduated with a degree that I regret and decided to pursue a master's in CS to make up for that. As a result, I definitely have a lot of catching up to do before I get started this fall. Your videos perfectly match the prerequisite knowledge I need and just watching the lectures for the past month or so, I already feel massively more ready to pursue this degree than I ever did. Keep up the incredible content!
Intro to Algebra, intermediate algebra, college algebra, precalculus, calculus I, calculus II, Calculus III, Discrete, Linear, Abstract, Differential Equations and so on.
Hi Professor Brehm, as a full-time student who also works full time, your channel has helped me tremendously last semester when I stupidly decided to take Discrete Math, Linear Algebra, AND Multivariable Calculus all in the same semester, especially when my last math class was over TEN years ago. Due to work, I was not always able to go to lectures and for whatever reason some classes still do not offer lecture recordings despite the arm and a leg you have to pay for tuition. Your videos allowed to keep up in all of those classes and I somehow pulled off a 4.0 last semester. You honestly should not have to explain yourself as to why you are monetizing your videos as you definitely deserve to make money off the hard work you put into this channel, especially to the benefits of your kids. Most of my professors are not anywhere near as effective at teaching these contents as much as you are, so I am definitely recommending your channel to everyone (including my dog!). I am taking a Statistical Computation class this semester and I look forward to using your videos to supplement my learning. Thank you very much for all you do, I really appreciate you!
529 accounts? In Canada, they match 20% up to $500 max a year (so a $2500 deposit) [RESP]. I created one for my niece, we predominantly use the S&P500 index, crazy 25% gain last year (but a preceding loss). Good luck! And great mothering! Good to finally put a face to the name.
Thanks! I have 529 accounts for each kiddo, and the rest is in a brokerage account for expenses that wouldn't qualify for the 529 standards. I don't want them to leave school with the kind of debt I had!
