Thanks for watching. To see how restream stacks up for conferencing against zoom. Check this video out. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-w7vysvyTjpQ.html
Thank you for this video. I have two questions: 1. Do these features work for the free version 2. Must the guest install restream app in his phone or computer to join the livestream? Thanks for your time.
Hi Michael, I really enjoyed your videos they’re very informative and descriptive. I do have a question about re-stream. Is it a piece of software that I download or, is this browser-based like stream yard? If you could answer my question I would greatly appreciate it. I like the idea of being able to stream to multiple platforms at the same time. However, before I invest any time in this I want to make sure it is something that I can use easily and efficiently and it will not take up space on my computer as I use my computer for work related purposes. I hope that you’re doing well and having a great weekend. I would like to thank you for your time and answering my question. Have a great day.
Having problems, the share screen is not active in restream, when I try to click on it closes chrome down... same in Streamyard.. have reinstalled chrome to no avail... any ideas?
If you are using Mac you may need to add chrome to the share screen permissions. It could also be some sort of virus protection software getting in the way. Another great aspect of using restream is if you have a problem they have support. :-) so don’t hesitate to contact their support and ask. They will know how to get you working. :-)
Hi Michael, your videos are great! I'm planning a virtual piano recital. This is my third one so far and before, I used OBS and live streamed it to you tube. this third time through, I want to do two things: 1. livestream through youtube AND facebook and also invite live guests to play piano live for us. My question is, do I still need to go through OBS to do #1 or is restream all that I need? and if students don't need to go through zoom and they can just click on the restream link, will their audio come through ok, especially when playing an instrument? Zoom always has weird settings, drowning out instruments and my students already have the right settings in their zoom because of our weekly classes so I know if they use zoom to join live stream, their audio will be fine. But not sure about restream? thanks in advance for your help.
You can turn off the audio processing in restream. I think Restream would work and you could stream directly from it, but you would get a much more dynamic result in OBS obviously.
Im just looking for a great app that allow live stream to envite a guest thanks i found your video and im excited about it thank you for sharing your video worth watching..i learn more thank you
Hi is there a limit to the size of the videos you can upload for intro/outro etc? I just recall you saying streamyard had a limit of 100mb so Is this the same or can we relax a little. Thanks
I'm planning on going on as a guest on other people's youtube live. I get confused with technology a bit as well. My question would be how do you go about doing that as a guest, do you need skype and OBS or does it just work with skype? I take it the other person hosting does most of the work.
Hi Michael! Thanx again for that great video, you saved me a lot of time, just what i was looking for 🙏👍 i have a question, when i want to set up the "restream Audio" i can't find "Headphones" in the scroll menu in OBS, do you have the solution to this issue? Thank you 😊
Hi Michael, thank you so so much for recommending restream! Really interesting platform indeed :) And the interface doesn't seem too complex to use. Great! I have a few questions, pardon me if it might sound a little silly... I plan to do a live soon, it is my first time, and I am not so good with all these technical details. Let's say I have a live scheduled for this Friday, what should I do to connect that PARTICULAR live session with restream? I am really confused. Because, I see that in RU-vid, there is a "GO LIVE" option, and there is a "GO LIVE" option in restream, which should I click? I tried clicking on "GO LIVE" from restream, it seems to have created a live session /episode on its own. (hope this makes sense) Really hope you can help. Thanks a lot Michael :) I'm a new fan of your channel!!
Makes perfect sense. The go live button in restream will create a new live. There is a scheduling option on restream studio that is in the works and may actually be available now. I will see if I can do a video about it in the next we weeks. As far as I can tell there is no way to start a broadcast scheduled in youtube in restream studio YET.
@@MichaelFeyrerJr Thanks so much Michael :) Really appreciate your help. I believe it is possible now to schedule an event from restream. I'm going to test it later. Wish me luck! And I look forward to your video. Thank you and have an amazing day Michael.
Suppose you already had a logo or a bumper made up with another program before you got restream. Would it work and if so how do i upload it in to restream?
It was a lovely video, just my type what I was looking for I have a doubt, Can I use this restream software or a app in the mobile to directly start making a streaming video with my more than 5 guests at a time Is it accessible on my android phone??
I use Restream for my live church stream and it does what I need it to do, but for my channel the bumper videos only allow you to up 150mb so I can't run my sponsor videos. Is there a way around it?
Hi Michael. Great content and great tool. What about for live done by Instagram platform? Does it work the same? Or I need to found another way? Thank you so much!
My first live stream was a total disaster. I had a guest on skype with NDI, I set everything to optimal, and also took a test recording.Everything was ok, but when I started broadcasting on Facebook, the sound started to tear and stutter (my usb microphone and the NDI voice too ). What could be the reason for this? Please help me. :(
Michael, greetings. I am about to launch the debut of a biblical investigation channel. We have zero budget currently. Mostly we will be reviewing video content but i need something to invite 1 to 2 other people and their cameras on screen while we review what's playing. With no budget is there anything you'd recommend ? Plus i need to record the entire screen at the same time .thank you.
