If you’re looking to host a live interview on RU-vid, you’ll quickly realize the process is not quite as simple as it is on some other platforms.
Facebook introduced a live ‘guest’ feature a while back, enabling you to do 2 person live streams with the click (or tap) of a button. But as of right now, RU-vid live 2 person streaming is not so straight forward...
While it may not look that way at first glance, the good news is - adding a guest to RU-vid Live IS possible. In fact, you can add MORE than one - you just need the right tools to do the job!
In this video we look at the best options to go Live on RU-vid with 2 or more people (including OBS, ECamm Live, Hangouts, Skype and Zoom), and the process you need to follow to do it.

You are the man! Another GREAT video. I cannot say ‘thank you’ enough. You’ll never realise what a positive influence you’ve been to growing my chanel. I’ve only been playing with RU-vid for 4 years and always wanted to produce some high quality, visually dynamic live broadcasts. I’ve studied for almost two years and none of it really made much sense UNTIL I discovered your channel. Hi, thanks for the video. Due to the current situation we've thought to do a live stream with ouf fans but if we use obs or google hangouts we won't have acces to the youtube fans donations will we? Maybe that feature doesn't even exist anymore?

One way to save money if you use the zoom option, is to live stream through an encoder like OBS. Then you can just share your computer screen with the zoom call on it. Every person in the zoom can do this.

Very useful video, thanks. I already went the Skype+Streamlabs OBS solution on Windows with 5 people on the podcast call, but am having problems with the audio bleeding between the NDI sources. When one person speaks, the audio mixer volume levels move for all the NDI sources. It sounds terrible as the audio has a phasing effect to it. I’ve been unable to fix it. Have to heard of this issue? Thanks

First, this is an excellent, very informative video. Second, my question is... I’m using Skype and OBS, recording only, no live streaming. My guest calls in via Skype, and I am wondering how I can share my screen with them without destroying my system. Skype has a screen share option, but it locks everything up. I’m wondering if there’s a trick I am missing? They need to see the screen because what’s on my screen is what we are talking about together. Thanks!

Thank you for the information and options. We’ve been looking for something -besides- Zoom because the audio feed is poor when you record and playback. If one person happens to talk over another, one or the other is muted even though it records separate user feeds.

Justin. You have just solved my problem with the crappy OBS which doesn’t have the facility to add people live. I’ve downloaded the trial version of Ecamm. But the price is NOTHING like you mentioned. It’s now up to $240 every year. Am I missing something?

When I used OBS on You Tube, the live streaming stopped after 57 minutes. First, I invited my friend on zoom.Then, I used display capture to connect zoom and OBS. I also am really intrigued with Switcher Studio - been using BeLive.tv for my interviews, yes its easy to use but it also looks .. ah simple - I want something with more of a professional look and features
