Every month, this video is aging very well. The favoritism part especially, seriously one of RU-vid's favored creators Sssniperwolf doxxed Jacksfilms just for giving valid constructive feedback for reacting to TikTok content plus she is freebooting said TikTok videos, and she's still on this platform, even though she rightfully does NOT belong here.
Facts the whole SSSniperwolf situation is proof of this. Berleezy's entire channel terminated back in February of this year just because he didn't censor something, while SSSniperwolf steals content that doesn't belong to her and most importantly has done blatantly terrible and inappropriate things to many people, the most recent being doxing JacksFilms and his wife's house on social media. RU-vid has a history of cracking down on doxing and yet won't hold her accountable for what she did which is absolute favoritism, and proving that what happened to Berlin is racism .
Edit: This is so unfair to Cory RU-vid needs to understand that black people should be treated the same, and plus now we know that if Cory’s channel disappears we know why and I would like to bring up that all the age restrictions are fake I mean everyone knows that by now but they need an actual human to review the reasons his video got age restricted and thank you so much Cory for speaking out Edit: TY FOR ALL THE LIKES

The fact this aged like fine wine after Sniperwolf not only doxxed jacksfilms with RU-vid just demonitizing her, saying Jack was also in the wrong, but making a tweet that was like “would it be meta to make a reaction vid of a reaction vid” clearly shows that RU-vid has favoritism for certain creators. Hell, even Woozie from GTA San Andreas sees this from a mile away
I’m glad you made this video bro, youtube’s review system has been buns for a LONG time with no communication to the people who took time to create the content..it’s almost a guessing game on what you “did wrong” to get it restricted. I really hope they aren’t targeting you specifically for being black and it’s more of the youtube system being horribly flawed which can be fixed with better systems in place, but i’m with you all the way and got your back, I’m sorry this is happening to you

It shows that they just care about money honestly, you can do pretty much anything you want on this platform if you make them a lot of money and you're famous sniperWolf steals content and a lot of other bad things which is against the guidelines but just gets off free shows the favoritism

This is an issue that affects youtubers of all colors. Calling it racist is very unproductive and also shows how ignorant and uneducated people are on the issue. We see so few instances of racism in the real world that when we see a POC slighted, we say it's racist, despite everyone being affected. Lets get focus back on track, unite, and hopefully we can get to a resolution.

One year later, nothing has changed for RU-vid. They are literally siding with SSSniperWolf over JacksFilms. Instead of actually deplatforming her, they demonitized her channel ONLY temporarily and considered Jack to be on the wrong as well, even though all he did was pointing out that SniperWolf was stealing content and making fake reactions.
it's kinda funny because he keeps all his commentary PG, then the majority of his content isn't (SSS, most games are horror games), still isn't justified for youtube to do this though because it's still more family friendly than the other youtubers' vids

Respect to you for speaking up Cory, this has been a problem in traditional entertainment/new media/social media for too long. Someone of your caliber & the rest of us who aspire to create should all be treated fairly/equally and given a proper chance to grow. But companies push what they want to push, distribute content that they think audiences will enjoy , punish the vocal minority when we choose to speak up , and put a lot of us on the back burner to pick up the scraps. One day they will have to see our worth, our value, and then treat us with the respect we’ve always deserved.

Markiplier is fully aware of the privilege his channel has, frequently calls YT out for the favoritism and bullshit they give him vs other creators, and also frequently leverages that favoritism in favor of mistreated creators. So I'm sure he's totally fine with you mentioning him especially as respectfully and logically as you did.
just talk with markaplier or somebody else to do randomly one or two or three videos which are exactly the same without promoting this or giving it public attention. An then, after one video might be judged differently to the other, you know whats the reason behind it. like a real study. same premisses etc. change one variable and have a look at the outcome. it could be work for nothing but it could also expose and adress real issues on this plattform without them being able to silence it

Cory is literally THE MOST unproblematic person on this platform. He posts his videos, minds his business, and goes about his day. This really goes to show how the world hasn’t changed at all. Everything Cory has he built up from the ground himself, I've watched him for 7 years. He not only worked super hard for everything he has to this day, but he rightfully deserves all he has earned and more.

Coming back to this video a year later and Cory is still right about RU-vid having favorites. This video aged like FINE WINE. SSniperWolf doxxed JJacksFilms because he was giving constructive critism on her videos for not giving credits to the creators. SSniperWolf was exposed for doing other shit too like being racist, transphobic, body shamed certain body types, has been arrested in the past for disorderly conduct and armed robbery, she ghosted a dying child, and she showed very disgusting behavior towards children. With all that SSniperWolf did, RU-vid just gave her a slap on the wrist and said that both JJacksFilms and SSniperWolf were in the wrong. Ad-blockers and swearing is where RU-vid draws the line yet they didn’t do shit when SSniperWolf doxxed somebody.
And also when Berlin’s whole channel got terminated a while back because he uploaded “The Poop Killer” and didn’t censor a certain part but SSniperWolf committed a literal felony and got a slap on the wrist. RU-vid definitely has favorites and I’m convinced there’s some racism involved too.

Thank you for bringing this to light, when reviewers are given so much power without accountability, it is not difficult to imagine some might inject their personal biases into their decision making process. I understand this is a difficult job to do, and sometimes mistakes could be made without malice. But the request review function should be there as a safety net, and second reviewer should clearly state which part of the video is actually flagged, and rules that were broken. As of right now the review system is like dealing with a pro gaslighter.

thats the problem with the I'm not racist types who have to announce their stance on human decency 24/7 they try to hard to convince the world that they are soo good when they are in fact just fake and phony. they need to actually hire people who can actually review content on the platform and list and specify what exactly was the reason/cause that someone who is monetized did to receive an infraction or have penalties levied on their content and be able to defend and respond to their request for appeals. this age of slave labor with underpaid workers in multi-billion dollar american companies is incredibly wrong, you should not have a personal yt manager or spokesperson to be able to appeal bans or strikes or have 14m followers/subs to get an honest and fair review.

I’m glad big creators are talking about this! I talked about this in my newest video, as I’ve been denied my play button for a community strike I’ve had for OVER 3 years (for reacting to a video still up and monetized on other RU-vid channels, might I add). The double standards and constant pressure to make viral content or have your performance suffer has really affected my motivation to make content
