@@emenova3553 Actually 1. That's no longer for the 2021 rewind 2. There are some indications that the GilvaSunner claims may have been by someone impersonating Nintendo 3. Toei may have found a way to avoid RU-vid's systems and use lawsuits to just start deleting peoples' channels. See Suede's video "every anime youtuber could be gone tomorrow"

The one year they made it impossible for us to hit the dislike button, they don't do it. So removing dislikes officially has no reason to exist.

@@jameswiseman5451 they already removed it, the extension is using data gotten from before the removal, makes estimates from the people who use the extension disliking new videos and the views:likes ratio, and will soon make it possible for creators to make their actual dislike count available, kinda like they did for subscriber count.

The reality of why there's no more RU-vid Rewind wasn't because of the negative feedback it's because RU-vid is no longer about the creators and industry content has taken over (as far as the optics RU-vid wants to promote to advertisers). The REAL creator no longer represents what RU-vid wants to sell to big sponsors.... the industry ALWAYS has to control things eventually in order to get the big name sponsors. So like everything else that starts with humble beginnings and is created by the people, it eventually becomes inevitable that for the platform to make money they have to cater to the Fortune 500 companies.
