Your Google account IS your RU-vid account. They are one in the same if you ever linked them. Ie, banning your Google account is a perfectly reasonable punishment, because it's just banning your account in general. What you spam isn't relevant to them; only that you spammed. Spamming an emote is no different than spamming anything else in their eyes. You might as well have spammed distasteful statements.

There is nothing scarier in a conversation than talking to someone visibly holding in their anger. Especially when said person is topically the type you wouldn't associate with being 'angry' or 'overly aggressive'.

Natalie Flowers Basically, RU-vid was constantly bragging about how kids go on their site, so the government sued RU-vid and forced them to use the Children Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), and now creators have to mark their videos as for kids or not for kids starting January 2020. If we mark them as for kids, we lose 90% of our ad revenue, comments, community tab, I cards, end cards, and more. If we mark them as not for kids and RU-vid disagrees, we get fined $42K per video. As you can see, content creators are stuck in an endless loop, as RU-vid penalizes is for mature content and family friendly content. Also, according to COPPA, some things you’re not allowed to have in your videos without being fined consist of: -Snack foods/Cereal -Animals -Animated characters (this includes video games) -Bright colors. TLDR; RU-vid bragged a lot and got sued and now the government is trying to increase the amount of homeless people. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.

Then they basically turn around and bitch at us when we give them backlash for how scummy they act. RU-vid has the manpower, what they don't have is an excuse.

One made irc bot that did like 20 messages per second. He got suspended for 24 hours. Usually it's just channel's mod team that timeouts/kicks/bans people who spam when it's unwanted.

The initial bans were because there was a concern they were automated accounts (bot accounts), which is understandable. The appeals, however, should not have been rejected at all.

What reputation? Most of the people on the platform already think youtube teams are negligente af, they mess up a lot, especially with youtubers who don't have a huge fanbase or impact. Yeah, this is getting fixed, because Mark is a big youtuber, but for a lot of lesser known youtubers, i doubt it would have the same outcome.

Let's not get our Hope's up yet. When popular content creators are speaking to protect their fans, or when they try to get their accounts back. Google & RU-vid sees it as a "problem." They didn't wanted to create an uprising against their own platform. Markiplier is one of my best favorite youtube channels since around the 2010s, and I'm glad someone from RU-vid managed to resolve the issue. Although, I'm worried they won't stop disabling accounts completely. RU-vid & Google are planning for censorship in the beginning of January because there's going to be an on-going election for 2020. Plus, they'll plan to go through an audit review whether or not your videos are eligible for monetization since many kids use RU-vid these days. They'll continue to control their platform "for what's best in our country." Geeks & Gamers had followed up a story when a RU-vidr got his account hacked, and his videos were gone (someone managed to hijack his channel & repurposed with a fake account). RU-vid has been pretty silent about these incidents occurred at the same time, but I'm still going to keep a bird's eye view if RU-vid has respond back to Geek's & Gamers. So if your a pro gamer or pro democracy like me, be sure to keep your account secured from fake sponsors.

If you actually bothered to watch the video, he explains it's because he experienced the same sort of account ban for no reason before and lost all his videos and everything, so he holds a grudge against youtube for that and also he just genuinely cares about his fans.
