@Primate Productions they wasted tax dollars regardless the police was investigating his case. It's better if this guy had rotted in jail for a long time and not let the risk of him possibly hurting someone else. This hits close to home because i am also from Texas. if youreally care about yourself being over taxed then there are many "criminals" who are in jail for possession of weed that seems like a bigger waste of tax money then keeping murderers behind bars.

@@IvanSal778 Oh i absolutely agree with you about the ridiculousness of people being jailed for non violent drug possession/use charges wtihout a doubt! Not sure what that has to do with what i stated though....if you were looking for an argument you wont get one here on that topic. ALso, my point was it did turn out better...yes it was a waste of resources for them to have to find him and all however it was still cheaper than housing him for the rest of his life and putting him through a murder trial. Of course it would have been bad if someone else had been hurt or killed and there was that possiblity however they were not so you can argue your point but i maintain that it still worked out better in the end by it happening the way it did.

"I put everything into this relationship, I have done nothing to your mom. I never hit her, I never hurt her, I never called her names." One thing I realized in life is if someone tries to make themselves look like a better person by listing off all the bad things they didn't do, they are not a good person. Instead of listing good things he did in their relationship, he lists off bad things he could have done, but chose not to do it. He thought about doing those bad things, but decided not to. People in a healthy relationship don't think about hurting someone they love. And he's unable to list good things he did in the relationship because there were no notable good things.

That first clip reminded me of when I had my son. My son is almost 18 now, so this would have been back in 2004. RU-vid was pretty new and we were trying to be cutting edge with our newborn baby videos. Instead of sending them to every family member every time I figured we would just make him his own little RU-vid channel and let everyone know when there was a new video or two. We bought a flip, which was a really small/light camcorder that made making videos really convenient (cell phone cameras weren't really a thing) and it even came with software to make minor edits super easy. So i was posting quite a bit. After the first few months the frequency slowed until we really weren't uploading much and eventually stopped all together and just texted pics or uploaded to Facebook, which proved way easier than RU-vid since everyone would see it without any alert necessary. Anyway, a few years later I remembered that RU-vid channel and went to watch some of the videos of our baby boy and reminisce. After clicking through a few of them I noticed a guy commenting on the videos that we didn't know. So I went back to the start and see when he started and see what he commented in chronological order. Out of 30 videos, he wound up commenting on all of them, but it seemed like his first comment was about midway through the year and he went back to watch all of them. Comments were "what a cute baby" "such a sweet family" and then they start with the guy suggesting we make certain kinds of videos with my son, like we should make a video of him going down a certain slide, or pushing him backwards in a swing. Nothing crazy but just super weird to be making requests. Then he starts commenting that he recognizes the park we are in, and he knows the neighborhood. Then complaints that we haven't posted in so long, and how that's unfortunate. I had to keep reminding myself this was years ago, and those comments I was reading weren't written in one sitting, the way I was reading it, this had happened over time as he probably got more and more "familiar" with us and then how annoyed he got with the lack of uploads. I guess the point of the story is how random and easily stuff like this can happen. We had a tiny channel with random short videos of a brand new baby, just like a million other channels and boom... Immediately we get a psycho viewer. I like to think about how he must have thought at first we were ignoring him, and then creeped out by him, etc. Meanwhile we had no idea it was going on and by the time we noticed it was long long over. He got lucky, if you ask me. People don't seem to understand how protective new parents can get. Especially in the very beginning. If someone threatened my son or wife , I can't even imagine the rage back then.

This case once again shows the absolute distinction of our criminal justice system. It almost seems to want criminals to go out and commit more crimes. Under no circumstances should this man ever been given bail. The judge in this case should be removed from his position forever. He gave no care whatsoever to the people left alive in this case, his in laws and his children that had to live in fear every day. What a joke our system has become.

This isn't the first or last time dangerous criminals like this have been let out on bond here in Houston, TX.. Our DA literally sucks. They recently let out a man that evaded police after an attempted car jacking and was eventually caught by a K9 unit, the man then proceeded to stab the dog several times with a concealed knife (and I believe two other people?) Before he was arrested. He was eventually let out on bond and stayed with his father once he was out, after family couldn't get in contact with him. Police searched the home and found the father's truck missing and the him dead in the garage (cause unknown but confirmed foulplay.) His son was then arrested again after fleeing from police during a traffic stop, in the stolen truck.... this literally all could have been prevented if he hadn't been let out on bond..

His parents are truly disgusting for getting their monster son out of prison and taking him in. I don't care what their excuse was. I honestly think his parents should go to prison with him especially since Trent's ankle bracelet was found at his parents house. They helped him escape...

I pray those children seek the help they need to lead healthy lives. And I hope that judge stews in regret for the extended pain they caused. Just because someone is on the older side, it doesn’t mean they’re any less of a threat to themselves or others.

Aye, it hurts my heart to think of what those kids have gone through and will continue to go through. 😞 I don't know how the judge could have considered him as not being a threat regardless of age. Releasing him three times when he's confessed to killing someone and threatened the lives of others is just negligent.

I understand the fear the families are experiencing since I'm in a similar situation. Why judicial systems grant bail are outrageous at times and only lead to more chaos. Since it's not affecting them it doesn't matter. They're not the ones forced to live in fear. It's extremely ridiculous!!

Yes, I could understand the public outcry of him being let out on bail. Also, you only have to post ten percent bail, so it would have been $25,000, not the full $250,000. What a POS: Not only did he k&ll the kids' mom, he also obviously abandoned them.

@Mikey I mean nobody has 250K just laying around hence why you only have to pay 10 percent of it because nobody can’t pay that much unless your rolling in money
