I was a loyal subscriber for some time. You promoting largest knife company in Russia turned me down. Those knives are pretty popular against troops who invade Ukraine. I hope this was a mistake but if you want to continue promoting manufacturers who cause destruction and killing people inside my country there is no way for me to support you.

Hey Alex, Im very sorry this felt that way. As a knife channel we want to stay away from politics. We made a knife with a Ukrainian company because their knives were amazing for the price and because we wanted to support a company going through a hard time yet never giving up. Same goes for our firesteels which are made in Ukraine. But what I'm saying is is not to defend this video..this video was about marusya not about the knife company. And we are not to tell people who to support and not to support. We are here to tell if a knife is good or bad. When we recently did a video about a very bad russian knife everyone was ok with it. And let me say this. Of course we are rooting for Ukraine. I'm sorry to see you go. Stay safe and stay strong. Same for your family and loved ones.

Good review, thanks! As for Marusya, I agree with Martin that most (if not all) of her viewers are men strictly drooling over her vids for everything not related to bushcraft skills with knives. She's aware of this and understandably flaunts her body to win over viewers. It works for her so no blame whatsoever.

I have this knife, bought it many years ago. I like it’s overall construction, ergonomics, materials. But I modified it a bit: made convex a bit thinner so it bites into wood better, oiled the scales and used some kitchen-grade silicone caulk when installing them back (for more protection from moisture). And mine had different sheath, the one you have is decent, original sheath was terrible in terms of both function and looks. Need to make a different one some day.

I hope you're fine. Women on youtube covering any kind of subjects, as a man isn't an easy concentration task, we get our minds splitted in 2 fast. In truth I don't like that, they could be talking about floor dirt in their apartment & it would be kind of interesting if the woman has beauty & she'll have millions of listeners. The subject or the object falls far behind the point to invest time listening. As a man if I need information, since I carry a moron part in me, I'll go listening to men no other choice. Also, some women will do videos just to be able to pick a "champion" in the huge pool of men listening, it's called hypergamy. For a man to just be "equal" in value to a normal beautiful woman, he has to really be "rich" & famous, think about that, it's crazy ! I'm older so it's normal I'm fed up with unneeded stimulations & emotions just to get information. :)

For your consideration there are at least 23 injuries and 3 deaths from air missile strike in Kharkiv, Ukraine, just about 30 minutes ago, in the middle of the night. The missiles were launched from Russia. And what what knife manufacturer is located in Russia, support's russian troops that invade Ukraine and pays taxes that causes production of more missiles? The answer is in description box! Think about all lives, civilians and militatary, men women and children taken by russians invading to Ukraine before promoting manufacturer who produced knives used for taking that lives

Well my friend for your consideration, we have moved production for all our firesteels to Ukraine. We let a whole line of sheaths made in Ukraine. We designed a budget knife that’s made in Ukraine. We’ve supported multiple Ukrainian brands with alot of knife sales bringing in tens of thousands of euro’s/ dollars to ukraine directly. I would say we probably gave more to Ukraine than 99% of people watching youtube. Reviewing an impossible to buy Russian knife (not even promoting it.) will not cancel all that out. Cheers mate. Don’t make unnecessary enemies please.

Actually there’s a huge cultural of custom knifes in Russia. But it’s more of a hunting knifes and they, though fancy - are all very alike. Kinda one style. As for diverse bushkraft and outdoors knifes - entire Russian knife industry if way overpriced as well as crappy

Hey Micky - The way you cut the onion @ 5:08, DON'T Cut off the root before slicing it, do everything else EXACTLY the same, but cut the root off /throw it away after onions diced - it holds the onion together while dicing - meaning you don't risk your fingers!
