Dish is better by far, I had YTTV and the programming is limited, plus the price just keeps going up. Dish has had the same price now for 4 years, Im having it installed tomorrow.
Also dish you can take out the local channels and cut the plan price by $13 on dish, But good video on the comparison. Also in depth use the dish anywhere app to expand via android tv, Fire stick, apple tv boxes in home instead of getting dishes Joey's. Just have a hopper with sling or hopper 3.
Horrible experience with dish. Dad passed in Dec 23, mom fell in Jan and went into assisted 2024. I cancelled and returned the device in Feb 2024. They still billed for all Feb and beginning of March. So upset.
I'm just going to be honest with you if it's on auto pay then call your bank if not if they keep just charging then don't pay Who the hell's going to pay if they're no longer here what are they going to do
I can’t believe these comments of people liking Dish Network better than RU-vid tv with Dish Network you’re paying way more money for less value on top of that if there’s a storm where there’s clouds in the way, you lose your connection if there’s a storm snow rain ice you lose it I know this because I just canceled and turned off someone’s account recently before I did, they were having trouble

They will always give you not that much discount, but if you call them and asked them for $50 off per month or you will call cancel.. I can guarantee you will have better price, just keep your word, cause they will start offerin you $35 and that’s it, but if you tell them you will be cancelling, then you will get the $50.00 off per month for 12 month 😊
@@boatdriver6595 May very well depend on where you live. I'm in the southeast and while we do have occasional outages due to a storm, it is not that often. We always have plenty of shows on the hopper's dvr to watch in the meantime, or can stream many shows. Also, if you are having a big issue, the dish may need to be realigned. I set mine up, and know just how touchy alignment is. Just a very slight movement will really affect signal.
Theres a reason why dish is expensive... Because its bad ass never had a problem not even during a storm... Had to cut because i couldn't afford it anymore that day my ❤ died hahaha
That’s why you go to RU-vid TV that’s affordable. Dish Network is trash. Anytime there’s a storm. You get snow you’re screwed. At least I live. You get RU-vid TV with decent Internet it doesn’t matter how bad the weather gets.
I just want to watch sports that don’t look like 💩. I have yttv and the picture quality for sports is trash but I don’t know if it will be better with satellite tv I’m willing to pay more if it is
If you are thinking in getting Dish make sure to get $50 off per month for 12 months.. if you have services already , call them and tell them you will cancel! $50 off per month it’s a lot! I worked at the loyalty team for a while, so I am ver y familiar with that
