Never say never. I just found a gorgeous brass & Bohemian garnet necklace literally at the bottom of a very sad lot from American Thrift Supply this past week. I was very disappointed in the lot, then voila! It's missing a couple of the garnets, but it's well worth having them replaced. Also, an antique 9K hollow gold bangle bracelet in the lot. And about 4.9 lbs. of junk, but who cares? 😊

I have also gotten some very disappointing boxes from ATS, from the perspective of no great pieces - but at the very least, I'm usually able to harvest crafty things. Sometime, even if there's no resale value, there is actually crafty value once I've taken everything apart! 😂 And of course, like in your case, there's sometimes the very nice item hidden among all the sad bits. 😊😊😊
