Not only this bud. No TV support - this would be game changer. Now you can do it with Enso but it's not official. Lack of AA games that were as expensive as Ps4 games but were cut in options you can do. Sony marketing as remote controller for Ps4... Today, after cfw this system shines.
Not just the memory card thing. They also marketed it horribly. Myself and every one of my friends back in the day, had no clue WHAT the Vita even was. We all thought it was another PSP Go deal. Another PSP that has a little added functionality.
@@TXFDA yeah same, I didn't know what it was really until it had been out for a while. When I finally got one it was pretty much dead. But then seeing games so cheap on the online store and those same games being so expensive to buy and the memory cards being ridiculous made me sell it pretty quickly.
Thank you. Jeez. That's all I needed to know. I was trying to decide whether to play it on the Vita or Switch and all I kept seeing is "the framerate sucks, get it for PS4 or PC instead." Which didn't help me at all. I'm not super picky with framerate as long as it's not a constant jitter. That gives me a headache. *I have a Vita and Switch*, I'm used to frame drops. I just need to make sure it's tolerable enough, or unplayable.
I’ve been playing it on DaVita, which is what I started playing it on Most, but I also have it on my PS4 Pro, and while I think it is a great YS game, there are some things in the game that infuriate me!! In the tunnels that you go into where it is dark the first time, and at the end of it, you fight a boss to unlock the glow stone so that you can see in the dark, there are these giant frogs, and sometimes you will try to avoid them, but End up mistakenly hitting them and end up having to fight them and some of them are in narrow tunnels where the camera will constantly go through the wall and make it to where you can’t see, leading to you getting hit a lot and having to use your health items to replenish your health!! I literally had this happen like 30 times back to back while fighting. One of these bastards went through one of my healing items just to beat him and by the time I was done, I didn’t even want to play this game no more. … I still am, but it’s not all that’s cracked up to be
@@robertbarker5802 thanks. but its such a slow game. when will it get good? right now its very bland. i hate being stuck in a prison building. and an island sounded much more fun to explore.
I have both version. I would say the switch is much better but the color is darker and honestly I don't like it, also the UI on switch way smaller. I still prefer the vita version to switch version
I'm thinking when I get around to this game, I'll overclock my Vita, maybe I'll see a boost in frame stability, it worked wonders for I Am Setsuna, and for many Vita games that has frame issues.
You praised switch so much ys 8 on switch is GARBAGE! almost has a frame drop all the time like a blade in the eyes,,, while ys8 on vita is much more stable like the difference is night and day even in switch oled,,,, except for the light which looks a little bit better maybe because of the smaller screen.
Totally agree ..I was very disappointed with my Switch version. The Vita has a better response esp combat , I instantly felt the difference. The OLED on my Vita looks amazing .
yayyyy YS. honestly still look better on psvita. a handheld released 10 years ago. on Switch, yeah, it is HD. but its blurry, the fps slows down and the color palette is dark. while on Vita it looks crisp and beautiful.
Hey mate would you recommend ys8 on the switch like I played on on pc but I want to play it portably as rpgs are ways more fun that way so would you recommend especially for 20 dollars?
I offer you all a theory. Dogi is God. While playing Ys 8 for the infinith time. (That's my word now. Don't touch it.) I was entering into a routine beast hunt when Sister Nia shouted "Oh God! Grant us Victory!" and Dogi responded "Leave it to me!" Now consider this, his name backwards is Igod. O_O I God? Step aside Earth Goddess, the real God is here and low key af! Edt: I play on Steam, the steam version is basically the PS3 port but you can download mods to enhance the graphics to PS4 levels without sacrificing fps. Monstrum Nox really screwed the pooch, I may not have given it enough time but everything about it just seemed like a step down and the developers just didn't care as much as they did about Lacrimose of Dana.
