Hello! My favorite foundation is a recent find for me 🤗 it’s Tarte’s (oldie but such a goodie!!) Rainforest of the Sea Water Foundation. I tried it in one of Sephora’s foundation Beauty Offers and just so happens the shade match was perfect! I picked up the full size right-away pronto! 🤓 Loooove it! 😻🤩
I like Chanel Ultra, TF Foundation Stick. Why do these companies mess with the product & not for the better. Thank you for doing the review & informing us & giving your honest opinion. Much appreciated!!
Hi Alli :) I was a huge fan of the old formula. It was a dream. And when I say a dream I think it would have been your number one foundation. It was super radiant, super light and super flawless. I have a bottle of this foundation (it's somewhere in one of my makeup drawers forgotten. lol) This one is nice but since I owned the old one I can't wear this. So the old one was: let me put it that way: you could put it on your face and it instantly would make you look like a runway model (with all the lighting and everything). This was indeed the only foundation that even Nick would notice and he loved it. It was that good lol. I'm not saying that this one is bad but it has nothing to do with the old formula. xoxo
Oh my gosh this old formula sounds like a dream 😍I wish I had known about it before they decided to revamp the whole foundation line. I feel like this new formula is ok but it's not wow or amazing. That's pretty incredible that even Nick noticed the old formula. I feel like makeup has to be pretty extraordinary for me to notice 😂 🤣

Allison Chase Hello again 🤗 Thank you! 🌷 Gosh, I’m not sure 🤔 My current bottle is due to expire Nov. 2020 in the shade BD30 which I bought to replace a bottle in the shade 25 I purchased directly from YSL about 2 years ago when YSL had a foundation & primer promotion. Seems like the 25 shade/bottle was dewier. So maybe the shade 25 was the old formula? 💕💕💕
My all time favorite foundation is Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow - (not the new water tint), closely followed by Giorgio Armani's Luminous Silk liquid and Power Fabric balm (that one is great for travel!). Good video!
I've been wanting to try this but I don't think it would work on my oily/combo skin. My HG is Chanel perfection lumiere velvet. But it's just been reformulated and I've been testing the new formula. I'll be sharing a review soon.
Hi Anne! I can't wait to see your video on the new formula. For me, it was the Perfection Lumière. This one was my go to, but of course they had to discontinue it.
I bet it will be storewide in the beauty area-Chanel is usually exempt but my SA said it will be 15%. According to reports, Macy’s stock went down 40% in one quarter and they blamed excessive stock. Therefore they’re trying to unload as much as possible, I imagine
I love your videos Allison because I really like how you use the same makeup products for your videos. Sounds strange right? Meaning you purchase makeup and you really use it because you love it. It annoys me when I hear a RU-vidr say, “oh this is the best” or “this is my new holy grail” but they never use that product again. In fact, you give me great ideas on how to use the eyeshadow palettes we both own. I love your eyeshadow look today so now I must buy that palette 😂 Also regarding this foundation, I used the old formula- it was ok but it didn’t have lasting power and the colours for me were a bit off. I used B40 (I am NC25 winter, NC30 summer) and it looked grey on me. I didn’t bother purchasing it again. I’m curious to know if you’re liking the Chanel Ultra. I have it but haven’t used it yet because it looks slightly pink, I’m trying to get a sample to try first but my shades are all gone at my local Chanel counter ❤️
Hi Gianna! I really like the new Chanel Ultra Le Teint foundation. I think it’s my replacement for the Perfection Lumière. I think some shades so have a cooler undertone, so that may by way some of them seem pink on you.
I have this very foundation plus the ysl all hours. I wanted to love them but they just don't gel with my skin. It accentuates all my fine lines (I'm 42 with normal skin). I love the smell but I hate the look and feel of it. Back to my chanel acqualumiere. If they stop making that I will have a breakdown 😂
