Man I totally get it- I get that appellate courts don’t like mistrials based on all this ‘other procedural stuff’ but resolutions based on facts- but these procedures are in place to get the right FACTS. The most reliable truth. The closest to the truth that we can get. Prosecutors railroad the process of uncovering the facts in the case that they’ve brought, this ain’t a search for the truth and this should be OVER.

There’s no excuse for her to continually mislead the court and withhold evidence as if it was just discovered 6 minutes ago. She’s wasting taxpayer monies. The judge is giving her way too many breaks. If I was a juror in this case, I would be very confused.

I would love to hear your breakdown of today's preliminary hearing of the Kentucky sheriff who killed the judge in his chambers. If what the defense is trying to present is true (the judge was allegedly statutorying the sheriff's daughter) and the sheriff has a severe emotional response, how do you see this case going?
When is someone more higher up than this judge going to step in and say enough is enough of this nonsense! It’s absolutely wild to me that they haven’t called a miss trial yet. This trial is off its rocker and it continues to be a waste of the jurors time! If it doesn’t get declared a miss trial, it’s going to get thrown out on appeal so let’s just stop wasting jurors time already. 🎪 This has turned into a circus!
Sir, this is a blowup from today if you go back and look, Miss LOVE is wearing a yellow highlighter color and once again the judge does the same thing and she is literally cutting the judge off and will not shut up!!!! DA learned from Fanni Willis!!! Unreal that Georgia allows this to be an example to the world. What a total incomplete disgrace the DAs office and also a lot of these judges in Georgia. I agree with your Dad, Peter, that this attorney lied/lies on purpose. I believe Love and the other female assistant prosecutor are grossly incompetent, do not know what they are doing and are willing to work around in any fashion they can to win this case/these cases. I am so confused at this point and I can usually keep up with what is being asked/said during the trials we watch.

I still can't wrap my mind around how the jury survives this long of a trial! How do they support their families during such a lengthy service? I would never be able to stay afloat financially if I had to serve on this jury

Love makes an excuse for the new photos because of witnesses they are having to put back on the list because of the defense's objections. But if the witnesses were already on the list previously, why were the photos not? Lying Love!!
DA Love has done this so many times!!! Over and over, I mean she has been told, and DA Love keeps doing it. That is why this judge is pissed off because she is giving her so many chances and she keeps playing this game.
You know how police officers will just gradually wear a suspect down until they finally get a confession, no matter the facts, and that's how we end up with all these false confessions? Maybe the prosecutor Love is employing a similar strategy. At this point, I just feel bad for the jury in this trial. And I don't know what I would do if it were me in that jury box for the last like year now and all this shit is going on and kinda up-pending my life. I'd be willing to say ANY verdict that gets me the fuck out of this case for good and that alone is scary.

She lied. Love said she thought because the phone number was numbers not words, that the objection was about comments and comments just meant the words. The phone number is in the comments, part of the comments. She is being purposely dense. Slippery and disingenuous.

That’s absurd. The best way for her not to benefit is to preside over a case that ends up getting reversed on appeal. Her not granting a mistrial when she should would be a reason for reversal. People measure everything she does with did she grant a mistrial? That is an EXTREME and rare remedy.

I have barely followed this case. It’s gang related? Does this all stem from numerous parole/ probation violations? Do these people (allegedly) have a body count?

They are bringing witnesses that were cancelled,just because defence refused to stipulate to chain of custody ( judge begg them) but they refused,after they told the judge that it was too long and to many witnesses,judge told them you are asking for more witnesses by refusing to stipulate the interrogation of witnesses??
I have worked my entire life and very used to annual evaluations. I assume prosecution lawyers are subject to the same evaluation. In my evaluations, I would put forward my goals for training, promotion etc. I would imagine Love would have been identified years ago if she was incompetent. She certainly wouldn’t have reached the level of ADA. So this leads me to the conclusion that her actions are more unethical or more dis-organisational than anything.
Acknowledging the general mess in this trial (conduct wise). Could it be that now prosecution is even more disorganised because they didn’t even have a plan b if what they thought are their star witnesses flipped? Seems to me they just expected everyone to testify as expected and now are scrambling (even more)
the state isn't even trying to claim any more that the witnesses were lying to police in the past but are telling the truth today, since they admit there are things that the witnesses lied about in their prior statements. its more like "when something the witness told police/said in the past is unhelpful to me and/or demonstrably false, then they were lying in the past, but if it supports whatever the state's theory of the case happens to be at that minute, then they were telling the truth (ditto when it comes to what they're saying on the stand; if it supports my current argument for theory of the case its true, otherwise its a lie). if you're a juror you're probably hoping the state has something up their sleeve that is going to make all this time spent somewhat worthwhile, i know much of the craziest stuff happens outside the presence of the jury but i'm sure they pick up on some of the subtleties in behavior
I do not like this judge. The judge needs to put sanctions on the prosecutor. She fusses at the prosecutor, but she doesn't do anything to discipline the prosecutor.

I respect your opinions but you definitely don’t respect the Da…this is just like the judge calling her incompetent etc…..everyone forget all those bad action from defence attorney and defendant did,drugs,fights,pills brought by lawyers.. you really enjoy DA getting demolish and it’s not you usually. But for defence lawyer, you only respect defence lawyer..sad.
These questions are just proof people take everything the defense says as gospel. They need to be taught that the defense itself doesn’t even expect the court to rule in their favor on every motion and everything they say
I don't have to trust the defenses word. I can see the incompetence on my own. All your response tell me is that you're fine with prosecutors getting to do whatever they please.
As someone who’s served on a jury I think this is disgraceful and asking way to much of a jury to come in and sit in the jury room for the whole day and days on end while they try and get it together. These people are losing pay, time and are beyond sick and tired of showing up to this circus. Everyday waking up hours before being there, paying for lunch and parking fighting traffic and the list goes on. At what point do they throw up their notebooks and say I’m lost and frustrated and I can’t stay one more day for my own mental health and well being. The mental gymnastics must be twisting their brains into actual knots. 🪢 🧠 🫠😑
