Thanks for watching, and I hope you enjoyed the video! Next week, I have a riding edit on the Izzo releasing in collaboration with YT, which I cannot wait to share. That video will go live on Tuesday on the YT Channel, and then I will be releasing a Behind the Scenes and Bike Check shortly after 🙏
Glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for the kind words! The capra, or any long-travel trail bike, is definitely enough for the average rider at the bike park!
Love the gear-head content. Would you say one should size up or down for a DH rig? I'm 5'5" and am used to a 430mm reach trail bike. I have a 430mm reach DH rig as well, but wondering if I should gone down to something like 415-420.
Glad you enjoy the content and thanks for watching! If you are smashing laps and racing potentially, and the 430mm feels good then you could likely keep running that. However, if you feel that you could benefit from some more control over the bike than sizing down might be a good call 🙏🏼 Hope this helps!
mullet ftw. nuff' said. man, i wish YT could figure out a better solution for the rubber plugs they use for cables and such. Every model (Jeffsy, Tues, Decoy) I have uses them and they just dont function well at all. They constantly slide up and out of the frame holes completely defeating the purpose of protecting the cables from frame rub. I like the electronic rubber shrink wrap idea, but as you stated, they are gonna wear fast as there is a lot of friction in those cable hole areas. thanks for goin' full nerd on the deets. good shit.
Mullet is a rad setup for sure! Regarding the rubber plugs, if you slide them back and wipe the cable down with 99% alcohol and also use a small pick to spray some alcohol on the inside of the plug, that really helps! Then just slide back into place and you should have better luck 👊🏼 Thanks for watching!
Hey man, love the quality of your content - I'm really curious about your toolbox, you you feel like you have everything you need in it and are there any changes you'd make if you had to start it all again?
Yo! I am glad you enjoy the content, and thanks for watching! Regarding the toolbox: everything is perfect (in my opinion) aside from the placement of the dental pick. I put that on layer 3, and always use it for things like undoing the Shimano brake handlebar mount, and really wish it was on the top layer. Hope this helps!
@@PeterJamison Cheers man, managed to bag a job as a World Cup mechanic starting next season so am having to put together a travel ready toolkit, taking heavy inspiration from yours so all good 🤙
I am 5'11". All of my thoughts on frame sizing can be found here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-86xLgXLtjaQ.html Hope this helps, and thanks for watching!
In a size large frame you can slam a 175mm dropper, in a size medium you cannot. That said, a 150mm dropper is great with the medium frame. Hope this helps!
