Hey Mister, thanks for comparing the Yanmar next to the JD. The Yanmar YT3 is an awesome machine. That JD is half Yanmar anyway so might as well go straight to the source. I can’t wait to retire on the farm too!
talk to yanmartractor.com. I have not had any issues with mine best tractor I have every had. Yanmar will tell you how to solve the issue with out a computer hook up. Thanks for watching my viedo
Well ive not worked mine much yet. But one thing I've had is if you have a load on the front bucket it basically won't turn if your not moving. Sent it to the dealership and it came back a little better but still not exactly right. Next issue is more of a design flaw. I've got the 3 rear remotes same as you and if I'm using my post auger the boom will crush the remote valves if you pick it up all the way. So you have to be mindful. I've never had these or any other ideas on my 4520. I do think it's a good tractor, but it also don't have the grunt of my 4520. But my 4520 is a power reverser tractor so that probably explains that. I do love the trans on the yt even if you can stall it in low range. It's the best hydro style on the market.
Did you say you were 6’10” tall ? Just curious I couldn’t make that out clear , I’m 6’4” tall just trying to confirm so I know how much room I wails have if I bought the yanmar
Yes 6" 10"tall and 325lbs at the time of buying the tractor. I have learned I have to try on cars and equipment to make sure I have room to move. Thanks for watching
