This video is of course a mindless parody created solely for comedic purposes, there is no intent to either endorse or condemn Tabletop Minions, and rivet counters. I just felt inspited to do some stupid edit real quick
Baldur's Gate 3 is giving both the authentic-tabletop-enjoyer side of me, and the I-can't-wait-to-meme-and-shitpost-this side of me so much great hope for the future.
Eliphas, you'll always be in my heart the foremost expert on Whoregaming, so thanks for his great summary of what TM was trying to say in this particular video. My tabletop skills have increased immensely, so thanks a lot!
I’m glad EC players are getting more representation on the wargaming scene. I feel there needs to be more tentacles and Biel-Tan babes on the tabletops too.
Before watching this video I thought that those long sex scenes in the Dark Imperium books were unnecessary, but now I think that there wasn't enough of them.
I would like to say "I turned my back on Games Workshop with 10th Edition" but I have already been fucked so hard for 3 out of 3 of my armies over the past 3 editions that I have learned "Third times the charm, don't turn your cheeks to Games Workshop least ye want them split." So instead I am turning sideways to Games Workshop-- "I still support everything GW does so long as they understand I will now exclusively 3D Print on my end."
There is a grain of truth to this joke actually. A setting that has been sanitized too much of basic things that human beings would be interested in like sex will always feel empty and incomplete. A good writer will factor this in to make for a more relatable and lived in universe.
@@whydidiwatchthis5174 You're not supposed to ask questions. Just imagine a reason and then get very mad at the imaginary person you've created in your mind.
@@whydidiwatchthis5174 what is canon and the lore is of utmost importence to create the suspention of diesbelieve. A retcon or a brake of character means a brake of in universe continuity and coherence. It brake the Imersion, why care about a setting if nothing matters and everything can be changed up? the in head canon can be brought up for fun, this is why the home made chapters or faction are here. The reste must remain coherent. Lazy hautors found the excuse of "all we are writing are made up history that could have happen or could have not happen" Only because they didn't want to read what their predecessors had written. It is despicable and unprofetional. Expending the lore on new things i have nothing agianst as long at it can be integrated logically within the univere pre-existing rules. But changing established facts and characters makes no sence (in 40k they have 10 000 of lore to explore why modify already established events) 40k has been successful for so many years because it remain stable. The more you push forward new narratives and switch established lore the more you will corner yourself the way that DC or Marvel does, ending with an end time event or a rebout of the franchise to clear up the mess.
