This isn't part of the Wow! It's Made! series, but I've wanted for a while to branch into other manufacturing documentaries from different eras. This could very well become a series, or it might be a one-off. We'll see. In the meantime I'm taking it easy for the holidays. See you in 2024!
More, Ellie, more! I'll even give you a pointer for great fodder-- this old DuPont ad film for Mylar plastics called "What's It To You?". It's perfect YTP fodder and it's also great riffing fodder, being the so-called "lost MST3K short" after their riff of it was lost. The Isle of Rangoon guys + Linkara did a great riff on it some years ago.
“No that isn’t smoke, it’s steam. Steam from the steamed milk we’re having. Mmm. Steamed milk.” I have been laughing since this was uploaded 🤣🤣🤣 Brilliant YTP 👏🏿😂🤣
Raising the bar for the final YTP of 2023 I see? This was very good. The floor plan rooms portion of the video was so well sentence mixed mixed it sounds as if it was straight from the original version of video! I couldn’t stop laughing at the really well made edits to the voice lines here, and the other small audio and visual jokes were great too.
The things you make him say in this script sound like they came straight from a GLaDOS monologue. "The air space heater assembly is made up too! You have the satisfaction of knowing knowledge. Great work! You did it!"
The "milk tree" footage was probably footage of a rubber tree in case you were wondering DaThings, thank you for continually to make euch excellent YTPs to this day
I think my favorite of Noisepuppet was the "Small Town Soviet America". Just wish it had subtitles because my english is far from perfect and I'm having difficulties to get all the jokes ^^.
@@KorenLestheI'm a native English speaker and I can't understand half the stuff in Noisepuppet's videos. I guess it's a combination of him not being quite as skilled at making YTPs and the bad audio quality from the 1950s recordings.
@@maximilianmorse9697I mean to some degree I've come to find enjoyment in YTPs via the fact that various levels of jokes are imperceptible to me as a foreigner. Surrealism to the next level. Obviously having watched a significant amount of English audio I've gotten better at understanding even poor quality English recordings so it isn't as effective as it used to be but whatever. You do you.
3:54 the date on the rejection slip has been edited to the real-world date of upload. i've never seen this level of dedication to a background bit in a ytp before lmao
"No that isn't smoke. It's steam! Steam from the Slteamed Milk we're having. MMMMM Steamed Milk!" "From now on you aren't just a Failure, you're a Power Failure. Make a note of it." "From now on you are not just a Power Failure, you're a Shower Failure. Clean your dirty freakin' hands too, bro." XD
Between Ellie and cs188, I *adore* these Poops of old 50s films. There's just something about the earnest, serious voice being made to say the most of pocket dumb shit.
Don't think I didn't notice the melody from the credits sequence being from Galop Infernal. A very nice touch. And for anyone reading this, a PSA: pasteurization does NOT cause lactose intolerance.
3:02 For the record, that's about 12.167 Megameters, or just about 600km short of the diameter of the Earth. A *lot* goes into getting your milk to you.
Ma'am id like you to know youre a true inspiration. Consistently able to make these from some of the most random sources and deriving comedy. I know this is probably on the pile of comment you get but please keep making these they really do brighten at the very least a stranger on the internet's day
"water without any ice, aaaaand dirt." I thought I heard that reference the first time around but upon second viewing I'm sure of it hahaha Good ol' Streets
I zoned out for a sec and was zapped back into existence when I heard "NoO, that isn't smoke. It's steam from the steamed milk we're having. Mmmmh, steamed milk!"
Can we just take a second to acknowledge DaThings for how much work went into nailing the proper tempo for the Can-Can near the end of this? Getting the wording and the music together so that the melody was recognizable must have been difficult, so extra props to you for that. Thank you for a great Christmas gift! Enjoy the holidays DaThings!
“Tector-type? Protector type. Protect-tect-tect-tect-tect -tect-type! Tector-type, protector type, tec-tec-tec-tec-tec-tec-tec-tec” Stuck in my head forever now….
“The airspace heater assembly is here. Whoa. Hi airspace heater assembly. Welcome!” I don’t know why, but this part was what got me 😂 Edit: Ok the “LOL! You are a failure. Hee-hee-hee!” bit got me even more!
Outstanding works as always. Your sentence mixing skills are top notch as well as the visual gags you create. Thanks for giving me lots of laughs this year. I look forward to more next year. Have a great holiday season! 😃
Work has finally chilled the hell out for a bit and I decided to spend my moment of peace in the chaos watching this. No regrets. I agree with others, this is probably one of my favorite videos from you now 😂. The part with the different rooms was perfection.
The listing of the rooms is so gd funny. i love that the other rooms don't get explanations but the operator sterilization room does, just to ensure the gag gets grokked
