I remember rooting for Yu when he got to TX and him not knowing much English at all. He's gotten so much better with his English and even though I know it'll never happen, we would gladly welcome him home.

I love how Yu understands English fully but just genuinely prefers speaking Japanese, it’s very impressive. Especially that he speaks English relatively well

You need a show on MLB network. So much better than High Heat

I get why you say this but, why? Rob can have way more control over his content here and likely earn closer to what he deserves. Fans (young fans) are more likely to see a youtube video than a segment on MLB network

I found the Japanese subtitled version before this one and was wondering why the interpreter was edited out lol. Glad I found it here.

Hi , Pitching Ninja san, I got to know your show thanks to NHK BS MLB news at night. Awesome! It was very insightful and interesting .I am very much impressed by top notch player's attitude toward baseball. It gave me another interesting aspect of a baseball. Yu-san is more like a creative artist of a baseball, isn't he? From now on, I surely will have more fun to watch baseball on TV. Thank you. May I share your show with my friends ? In the end ,I have a question on a baseball term " HIT BY PITCH" In Japanese baseball term, we say," DEDDO BOORU 死球(" literal meaning is dead ball )for" HIT BY PITCH" .You never use "Dead ball" for "Hit by pitch" ,do you? But a commentator used "DEAD BALL" when Daruvish pitched an opening day against Diamond Backs .It happened in the the bottom of the second inning ,runners were on the corners .When Pham got hit by pitch and the third runner Profer ran to score ,a commentator actually used ,the word "D E AD BALL " after Profer had to move back to the third. I am wondering if the commentatore used DEAD BALL for the meaning for "OUT OF PLAY " I appreciate if you respond to my question. Thank you in advance . Shalom Ojisan form Kobe

I am an American baseball fan. I have never heard the term "dead ball" used in the United States for a hit by pitch. "Dead ball" is used here to refer to play being stopped. Like after a hit or an out, before the next event (pitch, pickoff, and such) happens is a "dead ball". I love hearing about Japanese baseball culture, I wish it was easier for foreigners to follow Japanese baseball. I found it very interesting to hear about your terminology, it all makes sense, but is not how I have been taught to think of things.
