Primal effect to special summon itself to your opponent field and attach itself to an Xyz Dragon monster that declares an attack is meant to be used with 107 battle phase effect to gain 1000 ATK and attack twice
@@Bezaliel13 it’s more so that it just quick summons a monster for the cost of 2 materials, the end result besides the detaching and attaching parts (which on a link would just be a different cost and attaching any monster from your gy or something) it’s very link monster like
A lot of people say "Galaxy doesn't have a proper starter", and I feel like the people that say that don't play Photon Galaxy. The starter is Galaxy Hundred. And if it's not Galaxy Hundred, it's Galaxy Wizard that can search Hundred or Galaxy Soldier, that can search Wizard, that can search Hundred. All of those are 3 ofs, so you have 9 starters in the Deck + Foolish Burial. Now, what do you do with Galaxy Hundred? Hundred sends Photon Jumper to GY, which then searches Galaxy Trance. Trance Summons Jumper from GY and Galaxy Summoner from Deck. You can go into Solflare Dragon and get back the Summoner, or skip that step and go straight into Galaxy Photon Dragon. With each step in the combo, the number of possibilities increase depending on the situation. I just really dislike the idea that Galaxy doesn't have a starter. They do. They have plenty.
Because they don't, or rather they don't have enough starters and too many extenders. And I see you fail to mention Photon Delta Wing, which is their most CONSISTANT starter and even that depends on your opponent. The biggest problem with Galaxy is that they are too vulnerable to Droll and Ash, even Nibiru; if you can't play thorough those three then the deck needs a lot of work.
@@Devenix8527honestly never seen anyone play delta wing tbh regardless the issue with delta wing is it light locks. Now in galaxy eyes photon that's time but in a more mizar like build you would be giving up spiral and now infinity and possibly even trade in. Considering how spiral and infinity can both get to otk level under niburu compared to other lines
I personally am not the biggest fan of Photon Delta Wing, but the Deck can actually play through Ash and it laughs at Nibiru. The only real issue is Droll because it needs to search a lot, but the Deck has enough 1-card starters and extenders to turn non-starters into 2-card starters. Dragon Link has roughly the same amount of 1-card starters as Photon Galaxy, but they have enough of a grind game to play through those hand traps. 3 Seyfert, 3 Black Metal Dragons, 3 Lubellion. Yet, that Deck saw competitive success. It's not that Photon Galaxy doesn't have enough starters. It's not even that they have too many extenders. They just don't have enough cards to push them through a card like Droll, but Ash and Nibiru are no problem for the Deck. They can make a Number 90 early in their combo to handle Nibiru, and have enough searching that to play through an Ash.
summon primal to opponent's side triggers both TTTs as the search you get is mandatory, the spell card can recycle transmission on your opponent's turn(it is not opt)
I'm kinda disappointed tbh. The new Rank 8's name clashes with Galaxy Trance and you'd probably never use it in that case. The Level 8 is a Dark so it can't be dumped with Soldier or Level changed with GPD or Summoner it's name also clashes with Trance. The Level 4's 1st effect can be activated with the new Spell or the new Rank 8 but nothing else currently in Galaxy-Photon can do that plus it's name clashing with Trance again. The Level 8 Light is probably the best card here since it can search Transmigration, special summon itself, and doesn't clash with Trance. It's first effect could potentially help stop your opponent from using Imperm or crooked cook stall but that's it. The Spell is good but doesn't have Galaxy or Photon in it's namesake so it's unsearchable outside of the Rank 8 and Level 8 Light, The Trap can be searched but it's effect only activates in the BP so it's really niche. This looks like "Cipher" again with very few cards being good and added into Galaxy Photon decks.
Almost everyone use Horus, Regulus or Infinity, so trance is more like a "I have nothing else" card or a tool for turn 3/4 to make a comeback. Also this support is for Tachyon and not GEPD. While I would prefer a combination to help the deck become meta, the sad truth is they would just be abused in Dragon Link just like Seyfert.
On the bright side, it does not matter that the Xyz is neither Photon nor Galaxy when the LV8 also is not. Special Infinity to bring out Photon/Galaxy Dragon, Xyz into Dragluxion, search, Special Tachyon Primal, Xyz Change into 107, attach Galaxy Satellite Dragon, and use Trance next turn.
While I'm sad cuz no solflare dragon, if schwarzdragon didn't have that restriction it'd sadly be busted in Dlink, so actual good move from Konami here
@@Bezaliel13 well yeah I know that but the new cards lock you outta link summoning, so I’d imagine if Satellite couldn’t be useful in the GY or as material it not get reprinted
